I have no clue. At the end it says CFW loaded successfully but then pressing X+Y doesn't do anything.

Which version do you use?
3.2 or the new BETA 3.4 or an older one?
And what CFW are you using ;)

My bad. I'm on Gateway, emunand is 10.7 and New3DS. NTR is Preview2.
I wouldn't recommend using NTR + Gateway... It sounds like the two conflict heavily. Try using ReiNand or another CFW and using NTR with that.

The error is not very useful. Most likely it failed at some point earlier on, can you tell if any other errors show up when you try to run NTR?

Gateway and NTR play along nicely. In fact the first version of NTR was based on Gateway, it's likely the author of NTR also owns a Gateway ;)

It's Kibido with a problem :)
My five CFW's are working fine on my OLD 3DS also as on the NEW 3DS :)

Rebooting seems to have solved, however I'd still like to know what caused the issue. Perhaps launching the cia of MicroSD Management?

it happens once a while as boot rate has always not been 100% , more like 98%

The easiest way to get NTR CFW to load is to boot your system and launch NTR CFW right away. If NTR CFW isn't the first thing you're launching after turning on your system, you can usually expect a crash. Anytime I've loaded a game or other software first and tried to load NTR CFW afterwards, it almost always crashes.

I am having the exact same issue, when i try to load debugger i get SOC_Initialize failed: c8a0700b then if i try again i get the same memory error, i am on 10.7 emunand aureinand latest

I am running Luma3ds 6.5 stable version with boot ntr 3.4 and I am running into the same problem as the op. Rebooting my 3ds is not a good way to make apps work any better than they were before.
