Hey guys so i've set up ReiNand and wanted to update my Emunand through the system setting on ReiNand - can i update to the newest software (10.7.0-32?) or is it not compatible with the newest software?

so im pretty new to the scene, can i always update my emunand to the newest software? or what do i have to do in order to not ruin my system.

With the smart patching, it will always work in the future. To be sure, wait for a confirmation from others.

okay i just updated emunand through the system settings - There was an error while updating so i tried again and it gives me the error again.

on Reinand the setting show me the 10.7 software. but the update was like done 5 seconds is the error normal?

Weird... You can (re)update using sysupdater cia (download the 10.7 update with 3dsnus)

Could everyone please stop the bickering? Yesterday I added a "no CFW wars allowed" in the OP of the AuRei thread and I suggest @Reisyukaku to do the same as well.
I really don't understand the meaning of bitching and trash talking over free and open source software (be it on forum posts or signatures). Do you know why I retained the "Rei" in AuReiNand? That's because of respect. So maybe the users should do the same too.

Okay i just downloaded the 10.7 update with 3DSNUS - how do i upsate it with (Safe)Sysupdater now

Place the *.cia files on an "updates" folder on the root of the sd card. Install the sysupdater cia (https://github.com/profi200/sysUpdater/releases/tag/0.4.2) using FBI for example. Start sysupdater, press A, wait... If all is "installed" and your emunand isn't bricked, then your update is successful...

Enter the eshop.

I updated, shows error, reboot, but it's updated and i can enter eshop, and new features of the firmware are ok (themes and badges on updated emunand from 9.2 to 10.7)

i can enter the eShop - i've actually never been in there before because i just bought the N3DS. should i try downloading something or is entering proof enough for me to be up to date?
