Would that be the internal Sd card that you put inside your handheld or the microsd you put in your gateway cartridge? Or both ? Need to know what I should back up

the consoles sd card
the format will not touch gateways micro sd card

Hello.

I think I've bricked my Old3DS. I have 4.3.0 and I've used https://gbatemp.net/threads/tutorial-installing-rxtools-custom-firmware-3ds-and-2ds.390867/ to install a CFW.

I've got everything going on well till section 7. When I tried to go to go.gateway-3ds.com, the system was constantly giving me an error and exiting to home menu. Then I've decided to start from scratch: I've formated my SD, formated my o3DS, used all the files... and got stuck on section 3, 'cause I was still getting error while trying to open go.gateway-3ds.com. So... Now I'm stuck. What shall I do?
I've tried:
- Formatting my 3DS;
- Formatting SD card and deleting emuNAND partition, of course;
- Running different versions of rxTools (2.5.2, 2.6, 3.0) using reboot.ms/3ds, but I get stuck after initial installation on SD card (when it says 'press A to reboot', I press A and system freezes with black screen).

ok heres a few questions for you
what is the full fw number? the last number is important ex: 4.3.0-4
and do you have a (working in your 3ds) ds flashcard? ex: r4i gold/gateway bluecard/ect

I have been looking for a way to play out of region games on my n3DS (fw 9.2) using a SKY3DS+ with Cubic Ninja, and thus ninjhax, on it. So far, I have had no success.
I tried loading the Region Free Launcher from the Homebrew Launcher: obviously, it only found Cubic Ninja as a target; however, using the SKY3DS+ buttons I switched to an out of region game, took off the SKY3DS+ and put it back in. The game was detected correctly, but the loading froze once I tried to start it.

Is there a way to do it with what I have right now? Or do I need to get a custom firmware? I apologize for the noob questions, I'm new to all of this.

im trying to inject fbi but no where i can find will tell me how to get into the Rx menu. it only shows me boot options rather than anything similar to the menu from 2.6

you hold L while booting to get into the rxtools menu

You don't need a 9.2 system to run the region free loader. It will run on the latest firmware.

Why doesn't Nintendo update firmware versions quicker? It seems 10.7 has been around a while now.. Any idea?
Is there a way to "unwrap all" on the home screen? Or is it one by one?

so yeah you can use the loader on any firmware . . . but you cant play any game on any firmware . . . some games (not loaders) require a higher firmware so if you are on 9.2 you cant play games like yokai watch and Fire Emblem: Fates

first because they did not patch anything correctly last time . . . so they wanna (try) to get it correct before they play there hand
