AurieNand Arm9loader, 128GB card (102gb filed), DevMenu and BBM both crash the systme upon oppening, it was fine when on emunand CFW but after the switch they have stopped. Do I need to do anything special to get either working?

So if I understand correctly, you have issues with DevMenu and BBM? My first suggestion would be to install the cia's again to see if that fixes the problem.

Yes, It would seem, BBM, DevMenu and Config (all latest versions) just crash with the old "An error has occourd. Hold down the power button...yadayada". I have tried to uninstall and reinstall them a few times (using the latest FBI). Sadly they do not sem to be working.

If you boot them using the .3dsx file from the homebrew launcher, does it work then?

Im selling my current 3ds and getting a n3ds. My o3ds has aureinand with updated sysnand. Im going to do the same setup with the n3ds. I want to have the o3ds be setup as clean as possible for the buyer. Can I use the sysnand backup on my n3ds, when I setup a9lh?

When I system transfer, it says that it will copy all data from the SD card onto my new SD card. My question is: Does that quite literally mean ALL the data on that SD card or does it just mean 3DS titles and DSiWare and stuff? I have a lot of random files on that SD card and I'd rather them not clutter up my new SD card in my new 3DS.

I cant seem to find a tutorial (in the >70 seconds I devoted to searching) but what do I do if I have .savs on 3DS (A) and would like to move them over to N3DS (B)? 3DS (A) is running a Gateway + DS Profile Exploit and N3DS (B) is running A9LH.

hey. I have an original 3ds, on the latest firmware (doh!). Im looking for a flashcard with the highest compatibility/ease of use... it looks to me like sky3ds plus is my only option. Can anyone confirm this for me?

thanks

I think it is all data but I'm not sure. You can also clean the card up yourself though.

You can use JK save manager to extract the saves and then import them on your new device when using cia's. I don't know if JK save manager also works with gateway saves but it's worth a shot.

Sky3ds+ is indeed your only option when wanting to play 3ds games hassle free and drag & drop like the original r4 cards. However if you want more than just that you can look for either a copy of legend of Zelda ocarina of time and power saves or a copy of cubic ninja to use their exploits to enter the homebrew launcher. From there you can go as far as downgrading to firmware version 9.2 and then choose between to set ups: updated sysnand and Emunand. The updated sysnand is only usable with the exploit A9LH but it guarantees a 100% boot rate, faster booting, more room on your sd card as Emunand takes about 1,5GB of it, and the ability to recover from a brick without a hard mod. If you did not understand something I said, feel free to ask or shoot me a message!

Can I circumvent that by utilizing the PC transfer function to move only the files I wish to keep? My concern is just the files on the root of my SD card which are important to A9LH and other stuff.

NO you CAN'T use the nand or the otp from one console on another. If you want all your stuff from the o3ds to be on the n3ds do a system transfer once the n3ds is all setup with a9lh. You can find system transfer in the settings menu.

If you want it to be clean for them the only stuff that is needed on the sd card is:
Folders:
aurei
Nintendo 3ds

Files:
Arm9loaderhax.bin

Yes. the wifi method will only pull stuff a stock 3ds would have. It would also be slow as fuck. It's always best to do the pc method.

Okay thank you. Ill just unlink my nnid off the device. I think there's a way to do it myself. Ill backup all my saves. Does formatting the 3ds with aureinand delete the hax?

No formatting won't remove it(it may delete the .bin, can't remember if it actually formats the sd)

You can do a system transfer from the settings menu to transfer all your stuff from the o3ds to the n3ds. That includes saves and installed games. I do recommend using jk's save manager to backup the saves first.

(I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask that but here it is)
I've started Fire Emblem Conquest a while ago, and just now learned about the special edition cia.
Does anyone know the effects it could have if I exported my FE:C save and imported it into FE:SE ? Would it work correctly or just crash/not be detected?

yeah you can just uninstall conquest & select back up save.. it will restore when you install SE.. you can install SE then re-save your progress there then remove conquest (or not remove conquest). either way you will be good

you don't need to do anything special or install any external programs to transfer saves over.. it was made to be crossed officially..

Well I wont be able to system transfer because Im buying the new one after I sell the other

Transfering wont be that much of a problem. I just need to unlink my nnid

To unlink your NNID you can format your sysnand IIRC. Besides that, you can call the Nintendo help services and after proving it's yours they can unlink it for you.
