Hey, guys. I'm sorry if this has been discussed before. I have tried to find info on the issue but haven't managed to find any. I have tested 3 games with Cemu. Shovel Knight runs great. No issue at all. But Super Mario Maker and Mario Kart 8 both have strange video issues. Im running Windows 7 X64 with an Intel Core I5-4440 CPU at 3.10 GHz. 8 GB RAM and a GeForce GTX 660 card. GeForce Experience says I have the latest drivers installed. Has anyone else had this issue?

Dime333, i had the same problem. i update drivers nvidia and okay cemu image after

Well, I'll be damned. Geforce Experience seems to be lying to me. The drivers are two years old but it still tells me they are up to date. Downloading drivers manually right now. Released three days ago. Thank you very much.

can anyone help me to know how to update wux games? i downloaded the update from uwizard and copied it to the mario u folder and everytime i try to play with cemu it crashes and help is appreciated and thanks

Just confirming that having your browser open either playing video (or doing a few other things), = speed gains. I went from 34 FPS in mario maker to 60 FPS! If you close the browser it slows down again, but then if reopened it speeds back up..

To cover this on this "fix", I would assume that loading up your PC with tedious programs running in the background is just pumping up your CPU's frequency.

With un-optimized game engines, sometimes turning off Intel "Speedstep", or AMD's version, "Cool'n'Quiet" or "PowerNow!" will have the same effect without having to load all of those background processes.

So just turn of your throttling in BIOS and see what happens. Use CPU-Z or HWiNFO64 to monitor frequency.

I don't think Cemu is "working as expected" on AMD cards after applying the driver fix tbh. Haven't found anyone on the reddit sub with an AMD card getting decent performance.
Meanwhile seemingly anyone with an Nvidia card regardless if they have an AMD/Intel CPU is getting 60fps in titles where AMD GPU owners struggle to even get 20-25.

I'm VERY impressed with this emulator.
A 15fps average on Mario Kart on a Core2Duo E4400 @ 2.0Ghz, 4GB DDR2 800MHz and a 2GB GTX 750ti!
Wonder how much better it'll be when I get a q6600.

Impressive as a Core 2 duo E4400 has pretty bad single core performance.
I personally get 40-60 ^^

A Q6600 probably wouldn't get you too much performance as SIngle COre Performance seems to be the magic ticket.

Last edited by Floppy Fork,
Just tested MK8 with 1.4.0c. Getting ≈ 60fps in menus, ≈45 fps in normal races with other opponents and ≈ 60 fps when racing solo (time trial).

CPU: i7 5820 OC 4.2GHz
GPU: Nvidia 970
RAM: 16GB
