Compile the branch with screeninit. Delebile's one, or Aurora's one and use Safea9lhinstaller to update
Should I update it? Is there anything I can gain by doing it?
the a9lh created by Aurora is more up to date I think, but her version does not have screen init.
Edit: I don't even know if it's possible to enable screen init on her version
I followed Plailect's guide, I'm not sure what version I have, haha.
When you turn on your 3ds, the screen light up for less then a sec, that's screen init (if i'm not mistaken), if not, you don't have it.I followed Plailect's guide, I'm not sure what version I have, haha.

The guide clearly states which fork will be installed.

The way to find out is by having your cfw installed than have a arm9loaderhax.bin on the root of your card. After that turn on your 3ds and if it boots your cfw slow that means you have delbie's a9lx with screen init, if your cfw loads fast (as in a few seconds) than you are running Aurora's a9lh.
A9LH is still in its testing phase... the devs arent going to compile every single tiny change they make. I mean even look at decrypt9, it has versions released that arent fully completed at the time of it being released and it needs to be compiled? If you cant compile it, either ask people to do it (in a kindly matter plz) or figure out how to compile it. It took me like 3 google searches to figure out how to compile things from this forum. And if you ask me to compile it, it wont be done until i get back from work (7 hours from now)I don't think people should have to compile a9lh in order to update, this is stupid. If developers create the a9lh releases than people would not have to worry about compiling and instead they could just run safe9installer and update.
I followed an old version, but I think I have delebile's version.
I think I have delbie's al9h, but it loads fairly fast. Thanks for the replies!

Also not to be rude, but since it is in testing phases, the barrier of compiling it stops some people from installing it wrong and fucking up their consoles. And plus the OTP.bin is needed about every time you need to compile it. Thats also a HUUUGE reason why we have to do so
