Hacking How to install/connect E3 NOR Flasher to the PS3 slim?

@DinohScene showed me a good guide on what after ive installed the E3 NOR Flasher to the PS3 slim?


but the guide is missing on how to actually install it to the PS3... the physical part.




plus it will be nice to get some intake from other people. as always @DinohScene <3

This should be it.
Make sure you press on it gently yet firmly so that the entire clip is touching the mainboard (socketed the NOR)
Then apply some ducttape to it to make sure it won't accidentally fall lose during flashing/backupping.

I recently got a e3 flasher from aliexpress to unlock my friend's PS3, but I'm getting 1 5 6 blinking lights, meaning the E3 Flasher can't read the memory.
Before that I flashed that samsung formware for the E3.
The flat cable seems perfectly fine...

Any ideas that can help me?

Flash the multi console firmware (no clue which one it is seeing I flashed mine years ago)
Other then that, check the NOR clip seating and micro SD.

I just started the thing. Now I'm trying to start the PS3 so I can get the dumps with the e3 flasher.... But the fan doesn't start

What should I do

now i get a error saying on the PS3 its too hot and it shuts down. so the e3 doesnt get a chance.
