This is more a POC than anything else =/ still far away from finished (need more motivation). at the moement its with random graphics, missing controls, missing features and not the final layout...

Edit: but its working, lol :D.
Thanks for all your hard work and I can't wait for the new release!!!!!!!!!!!! One issue I am seeing in the current version is that I have 47 games on my sd card. When I cycle through them on the full cover view from beginning to end, I get to a certain point near the end of the list, when I try to view the next it will cycle through every cover before displaying the next one. If you don't quiet understand what I am saying I will make a video and post it so you can see. Just let me know.

Does anyone know how I can make the browser automatic navigate to my local Mongoose server upon opening, as apposed to manually typing in the IP address?

enter your IP address on your browser, immediately shutdown the wii u, power it back on and it should load it automatically.

Buy a game with 5.3.2 as described at the Definitive Guide?
I said about fw auto-updating. Thing that console does not ask you about installing update started with 5.0.0. So since there is no risk in your console being updated even without dns/url blocking, <= 4.1 looks like a much better host for emunand then 5.0.0+.

Ok i see now. But when will be this emunand release? I think now it's never? and if you block the mac address of the wii u in your router + dns hack + url blocking you completely safe. No offense at all!!

This is not about using it now. This is about using it when emunand comes out (if it comes out at all).
1. I have 3ds with arm9lh, so I don't want to block nintendo servers on my router.
2. When we would have emunand, we would also want to regularly update it using system settings, so there is no point in using tubehax dns.

Honestly, I when I bought a wii u, I decided to give emunand a chance till the end of March. If we'll have no iosu, I'll just update to the latest firmware. Devs have made a really great job creating software that uses public kernel exploits. But it's just too much unconvenient for me.

Just create a bookmark. When you open the browser it should being up your bookmarks.
I'm not looking for a bookmark, but thanks. Before I changed SD cards, updated loadiine, swapped PC drives, updated to Windows 10... I used to just tap the browser icon and everything was automatic. It would go straight to my server which automatically launch the ksploit, which would restart the browser when complete, which would again go straight to my server, which would launch loadiine. If it didn't fail the race attack, I only had to click one thing after console boot-up to get to loadiine. IDK if other people have theirs set up that way or if I somehow did it by accident initially or what.

What I do is enter the url and before the browser loads the site, I hammer the home button to stop loading the exploit and exit the browser. Now the browser defaults to the exploit (HBL for me).
You can also rename the the directory on your webserver, browse to the old url (get a 404 not found) and exit the browser. Then just rename the directory to the old name.

So it's just a one click thing after the wii u boot.

Alright. I like doing things manually for the most part. Guess it is the old school kid in me. Mine did what yours was doing before, but not sure how I did that. Wish you could change your homepage manually in the Wii U browser. Would make things a lot easier.

Thought I would ask here before making a new topic.

So, I have gotten Loadiine to work, and I successfully loaded up some DS games and such. I ripped NSMBU using DDD, and when I load it through loadiine gx2, the popup "you can use the following controllers" shows up. The thing is, after that, it stops at a black screen for over 30 minutes. I have a class 10 SD card (pretty sure, will check when I am off work) so I don't think it should take THAT long to load.

Any ideas, friends? Perhaps the xml files or rpl files were not ripped correctly with ddd? I dunno if anyone has ran into this issue before.

NSMBU does not have any rpls.
You could check where it is freezing by using the debug server.

Right on, that is a good idea. I have a feeling it may be the xml files. I was reading some stuff on ddd and apparently the program does not fully dump the xml files, only enough to be read by loadiine? My memory is hazy, I will see if I can find what that post said.

Yes it only dumps the values which loadiine uses. But that makes no difference to a full xml if you use it with Loadiine.
If the xml would be bad, it probably wouldn't even boot.

Just a tip for others in my situation:
I'm no js programmer, but while the instant load is convenient for my 5 year old who I've taught how to get into loadiine, it's a little annoying to have no delay to hit the exit button so I did some searching and found these changes to the index.html help give me a 2 second delay to bail out and navigate to another folder on my http server (sometimes i need to use wupinstaller for updates).

Code:
        platform = String(navigator.platform);
        var version = navigator.appVersion;
        function callback(a){
        -->Check to see if we're running on a Wii U
        if(platform == "Nintendo WiiU")
Add the function callback(){ right between those lines in the code.

Then toward the end of the html:
Code:
        else
        {
            document.getElementById("text").innerHTML="Unsupported Operating System: "+browserInfo;
        }
                    return function(){

            }
        }
        setTimeout(function(){callback()}, 2000);
</script>

Add the return function() and setTimeout lines, make sure to close all open bracket pairs

From my brief javascript research: by doing this we hold all the browser detection code in a large function which is called after 2 seconds (2000ms) that's typically plenty of time to exit the page if I decide I need to run wupinstaller or some other exploit. But otherwise I love the way it auto-launches now.
