I see a lot on the internet, but I'm primarily looking for a program that can split isos and/or copy them to a USB hard drive. Is there anything like that?

I don't want to spend money on a Xkey. There has got to be a way to load xbox 360 games off a usb harddrive.

You'll have to spend money on an Xkey if you want to keep Live.
RGH is less costly but you'll lose Live.

You could flash your drive, but you'll need to burn the games on Verbatim DVD+R DL.

USB loading is only possible with an Xkey or a RGH (tho it's advised to upgrade the internal HDD and load things from there, seeing SATA is faster then USB)

Actually, I have 2 Xbox 360 consoles. one is RGH modded and the other is completely unmodded. For going online, I plan to buy retail discs.

Thank you. You should had told me about Xbox Image Browser in the first place. I'll play extracted isos on my usb, and if I want to go online with certain games, I will just go legit for that.

Then you should've said specifically that it was a JTAG then.

You're basically saying "I want to copy ISOs to a HDD and split them"
No system, no further info.
It's extremely hard for me to figure out what you want to achieve then.

I suggest you upgrade your internal HDD of your RGH and copy games to the internal.
Less chance of something going wrong with the USB connection (dog, cat, mother, sibling fucking it up) and it being faster.

Well, I didn't quite understand how Xbox 360 works with games. Honestly I thought it was like the PS3 where you could use PS3splitter, or Wii isos using wii backup manager. Yeah, I should had been more specific.

For now, I am just playing a few JRPGs and Infinite Undiscovery works nicely. Just had to use Xbox Image Browser, extract all files, and copy them to the usb drive, and boot them from xexmenu and it worked.
I didn't specify what I had, so sorry if I confused you. I'm on a tight budget now, so all I have are my USB HDDs, until I can upgrade my harddrives, I guess I'll stick with USB which isn't too bad for me. Thank you for telling me about this program. That's all I needed to do.

No prob at all.

How much space does your internal HDD have (if you have one)
Cause you could install Freestyle dash on it.
It works far greater then XeXMenu.
Just follow this tutorial and it'll guide you through all the steps (including the injection of the Xbox emulator for 3rd party harddrives) needed to turn a "freshly hacked" 360 into a fully working one.

Got FSD 3.0 installed
Xexmenu 1.2
500GB WD Passport Ultra
no problems so far.

RGH console already banned when I bought it, so I don't care if I don't go online with it.

Also got an original xbox with a 2TB installed using unleashX with the whole library, so I won't need the original xbox emulator, but thanks anyway.

Nope and will probably never be.
Hackware hacking only.

Seeing yours is a Xenon and probably above 7371...
You're better off fitting an Xkey in it or replace the DVD.
I'd honestly say trash it, seeing it'll RROD soon one day.

The CPU and GPU of the Xenon and Zephyr are build on a 90nm process.
These chips run extremely hot compared to the 65nm (80nm GPU on Falcon) GPU and CPU of the Jaspers/Kronosses.
Slims got a 45nm GCPU which runs much cooler compared to the above.

Xenons and Zephyrs are suspectible to RROD, Falcons, if they RROD, it mostly GPU related.
Jaspers/Kronosses barely RROD.

The hotter CPU runs, the more the fans need to suck air from the 360 in order to cool them.

I had a list somewhere of which revision had which operating temperature.
The shutdown temps of the first 2 revisions where above 100C.
