Indeed, there are several ways to inject roms into gba using frontends, however, im trying to stay clean, at least for Nes/Snes/NDS and GBA, tough using SMS will have to use GBA frontend, since i have NEVER ever went to ESHOP, i don't know if there are any Sega/Genesis games there.

But yeah, im currently working on the Snes/Nes multiple conversion, however, i got ALOT of work to do in real life, so my time its kinda null.

no at eshop (WiiU) there no games Sega/genesis/sms but...emulators works good on GBA CV

Thanks for the info, yeah, people can us frontends to inject the games into GBA, there are several tools, also each tools give a diferent look to the games, as example SMSAdvance, DRSMS and PocketSmsSonic, the last one was never finished, works on some games only. i prefer SmsAdvance and DRSms, both do great jobs, this only to inject multiple roms in a GBA rom.

But as i stated, NDS, Nes and Snes will stay clean, as well as N64 that im making atm.

So, does this work only in replacing roms on current DS games you already have on your Wii U? Or are you essentially able to make a VC title from a Rom and then install that onto your Wii U much like the GBA VC injector for the 3ds?

I'm really interested in the N64 injector. :P
Will it still be limited to the base ROM's size?
Or will we have an option to use up to 64 MB cartridges?

What about the .ini files for each ROM?
So many questions. xD
I'm mostly interested in seeing if RE2 (U) could be properly injected, that's my long time dream since the Wii Hacking Scene.

You need to have 1 loadiine ready NDS rom, then you just open the injector, select a NDS ROM, click convert, and it will make a compatible file, you just copy the files to the folder of the working file, replace everything, and poof, you goot yourself a new NDS game, it just create a rom zipped, renamed, and with the directories needed.

Very nice app. Hopefully kexploit will come out so that us 5.5.X users can try it out!

Ok so I have a folder New Super Mario Bros USA eShop WiiU Loadiine READY2PLAY that I downloaded and works fine with Loadiine GX2.
So this program will basically just inject another NDS title to folder setup and it would launch with GX2 no problem?
If so how. I have tried to run the program i downloaded here, and i dont see a output folder? or files?
The CMD window opens and closes quick.
Then this appears on the program:

Code:
WiiU DS Game Replacement
[By ScarletDreamz]
Game: - - -> New Super Mario Bros 3
*- Renaming Nintendo DS Rom
*- Calling Winrar
*- Giving Winrar CMD Commands
*- Starting Process
*- Zipping Your Rom
*- Game zipped Correctly
*- Creating Directories
*- Moving Rom.zip
*- Adding Extra Files

What am I missing or doing wrong?
What goes where?
Thanks for sharing this great app.

Edit.
Oh I see its saving the new folder to the desktop.
I will try it out and report back
Thanks

Oh, so this is ran from Loadiine, and NOT injected into the main menu of the Wii U? So I DON'T need to have a DS game already on my Wii U, right? If so, than AWESOME! Sorry I just want to be sure before I try anything and get too frustrated haha.

Indeed, this load inside loadiine, you need a loadiine NDS game ready, as i stated on the OP "
if somehow you got already a NDS VC loadiine ready, use this tool in order to add a new DS game "easily?"
"

Once inside, just replace the files from the original NDS, with this ones, and it will just copy 2 needed file,s however, it creates the needed folders, in case you want to do it backwards. Meta folder is also created AFAIK, however, im still with alot ot work in real life, so have finished N64 nor the Mods suggested here :/, tough they dont take that much time, im like... overloaded with stuff D:

Did not work, black screen.
I just over wrote all the new files with the current folder.
created a png for cover, etc.
rpx file loads but hangs on black screen after loadiine exits...
thoughts?

yes origial loadiine ready nds file works

This. try to use also a clean rom as a base.

Thanks for your software.

Based on experience and testing. There's quite a couple of things that needs to be improved.

The software itself:
1. The software assumes that you'll be using the base NDS VC extract of the title-id "WUP-N-DADE", compressed with WinRAR (this is also another issue, might be) with the filename rom.zip.

Testing:
This isn't going to work if your "base" NDS VC extract is not "WUP-N-DADE". The software renames .nds files specifically to "WUP-N-DADE.srl". i.e. if I'm using a base NDS VC of, let's say, "WUP-N-ABCD", when loadiine loads the NDS emulator, assumingly, the emulator extracts the rom.zip file and specifically searchs for WUP-N-ABCD.srl, in which in reality, it is not that resulting to black screens. (for readers, search and research what I mean about the title-id)

The Fix:
It may be against the copyright and/or piracy but have an option to choose "which" base NDS VC to base the file name from, users would have to figure out what their base NDS VC is. OR better yet, have an input space to type the X letters title-id (this should be the way to go). Users MUST still know what the correct filename to use and/or title id of the base NDS VC.

2. The rom.zip file it produces, isn't a zip archive, but instead a rar archive with the filename of .zip.

Testing:
I've found out that the software compresses the file with the "rar" archive instead of being a "zip" archive, this can easily be missed because of the file extension used as .zip.

The Fix:
Although the software utilizes WinRar to compress the file, make sure that it uses the "zip" archive method.

Although I'll be honest, I have not fully tested number 2 as as soon as I have found out the issues of me experiencing Black Screen one my WiiU, I found the two issues above.

Screen resolution:
Also, with regards to changing the screen resolution, have at least as an option, but I tried changing them to a 16:9 ratio (1280 720 on TV, cannot change to 1920 1080, and 854 480 on gamepad), it does not look good. It is not a "real" widescreen view, it is a stretched 4:3. I don't like it, but some people might do. I would recommend to only change the 10th screen mode on the .json file.

Meta folder and file creation:
If you are looking to let the software itself create the icons and backgrounds needed, I would recommended to extract the icons from http://nintendo.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Nintendo_DS_box_art_(North_America). Note that these are US Cover arts, and it may not have all of them. Resize to 128x128 iconTex.tga file. With the background, it's a bit difficult to pin point one location to get it from, but probably have atleast an option there for users to either drag or drop the image file they want or open it to resize to 1280x720 bootTvTex.tga (for the tv background) and 854x480 bootDrcTex.tga (for the gamepad). With this as well, depending if implemented, users may have different background from the tv and gamepad.

Output Location:
Have atleast an option to choose where to output files, instead of just being in the desktop. or preferably, the root directory of where the software is.

These are all my findings with the software. Thanks for it.

Also, if helpful, my setup is as follows:
WiiU is in my sig.
Windows 10 Pro x64
WinRar x64 (don't know what version, too lazy to find out but not lazy to type these words :))

Edit:
If you want to edit/modify the NDS emulator, visually, more: have a look on the assets and/or images folder inside of the NDS VC, you should be able to find there the .png background of the original NDS (first version), amongst others.

Possible changes:
1. Change these to other images i.e. NDS Lite, NDS XL, etc.
2. Change screen size on the .json correspondingly to above, if necessary. (you can even change positions if you want)
