Hacking Changing Pokemon Language on a Japanes n3ds to English?

Hi all,

Got my jap n3ds but pokemon cia always run on japanese without asking to pick a language. is there some way to make it use english?
I've read about HANS but it seems too much of a pain to use...

well, i was under the impression I had the usa cia since installing it on my us o3ds shows english language...

Then it may be defaulting to the console language and I think hans will fix that.

Personally I always region swap all my jpn consoles to usa

When you turn the game on, it displays a list of languages (the list is in Japanese, because it detects your console region). The options are:

1. にほんご　で　あそぶ　(play in Japanese)
2. 英語　で　あそぶ (play in English)
3. スペイン語　で　あそぶ (play in Spanish)
4. フランス語　で　あそぶ (play in French)
5. ドイツ語　で あそぶ (play in German)
6. イタリア語　で　あそぶ (play in Italian)
7. 韓国語　で　あそぶ (play in Korean)

just fixed it by importing my old us save. now it loads in english.

Export the save to pkhex, and the on the trainer tab change the language to english, then enter and if the language is not changed exit and enter again

Maybe ? Not sure if PKHeX supports JAP Game/Save.

Pokemon X,Y and ORAS are region free it should work, it worked for me
