What are the chances Nintendo will port the game to the New 3DS? I reckon it wouldn't run very well as Hyrule Warriors on the Old 3DS performs very poorly (why it should have been a New 3DS exclusive).

It'd be great to have Pokkén on the go. :)

Smash made it because they knew it would be a success. This looks like a Pokemon version of smash, but they will probably wait to see how it does before determining a 3DS release will be worth it, which means Poken Tourny 2 might make it. It is strange though since all the Pokemon main games are on handheld, this may be a way for Ninty to push more console sales from their handheld users that love Pokemon.

Sure? I've only seen the commercials and such but haven't read too much into the game. Looks like a lot of fun though from what I've seen!
It's made by the makers of Tekken and explicitly is named after it (Pokken = Pokemon + Tekken). But yes, it does look promising.

In Germany the game's titled "Pokémon Tekken" which is confusing because some could assume it's a fighting game with a crossover of Pokémon characters with Tekken. "Pokémon Tournament" would have been a much better title.
