Because it's not clear what requirements IOSU will have. For now it seems a lot of easier getting IOSU work on older firmwares.
for what i know hykem told us IOSU will work from 5.3.2 to 5.5.1

who told you getting IOSU to work is easier on older firmwares ?

i think they will choose as first firmwares supported by IOSU the biggest group of users and i think that will be 5.3.2 and 5.5.1 FW Users

if someone wants to try my loadiine web build for 5.3.2 with saving last selected game:

before using be sure that this version will add 1 line to your loadiine_gx2.cfg

GameStartIndex=5

i dont know if you have problems (here it works) when switching back to normal loadiine, in case of problems delete this line

use the normal package as before and only change the loadiine_gx2.elf for the web package

I want to buy second wii u (console only). one will be for online and second for try another games with loadiine. I found new console that comes with 5.4 firmware. my question is if there are some advantages using 5.3.2 over 5.4 with loadiine? better compatibility, faster loading times, more stability? or it's the same and I can safely buy 5.4 firmware console.
I think that 5.3.2 got more advantages and stability but wait confirmations ;)

Any plans to fix the newer commits of GX2 on 5.4.0?
The commit I downloaded on day one starts fine, but newer commits just crash to the home menu.

To elaborate on the issue, on the first commit, it succeeds with the kernel exploit, and on next run successfully jumps to Mii Maker. Games work fine.
But on the newer commits, it succeeds with the kernel exploit, but then on the next run is displays a bunch of garbled white lines then crashes to the home menu.

There's nothing wrong with the new commits. update your code532.bin and payload532.html

Alright, but that does nothing. It's still just loading the old .elf meaning I'm still on v0.1

And typing that caused me to figure out the issue. There are no official builds of v0.2.
Can anyone send me a build of it since I don't have all the installed applications to do it myself?

So I manage to change the language of Mario Kart 8 and Yoshi's Woolly World

NOTE: no matter what Region your WUD is, some games (Like I mentioned above) contains all the REGION files needed to boot the game whatever region your Wii U is,

Mario Kart 8 how to change language:
1. go to content/ui/ee and copy all .mbst files there (do not copy .szs file this causes Encryption DSI occurred!!)
2. go to content/ui/jp and paste the .mbst files(from the ee folder) here
3. You're good to go. the game will boot normally

Yoshi's Wooly World how to change language:
1. go to content/message/US_English then copy the 2 .mbst files
2, go to content/message/JP_Japanese then replace the 2 .mbst files with the ones you copied
3. You're good to go. the game will boot with the Japanese logo but the text will all be ENG

SO I noticed that in Super Mario 3d World that it has the same format the .mbst and .szs files in the region folder maybe that's why renaming the UsEn and US_en still don't make the game boot on JPN consoles because it needs the JAP version of the .szs files in order to boot

SO PLEASE SOMEONE SEND ME THE JPN version of LuigiBros and LocalizedData folder so that I can play SMB3dW

Here is a SD Loader package for Wii U's firmware 4.1.0
Please report if loadiine GX2 beta 2 works on 410 or not.

As there's no exploit included in this package, I tried to use the old exploit included in Loaddine 3.0 for 410 fw package but when I launch your gx2 it freezes on blank page with wii u logo on bottom right.

Can anyone here give me instructions on how to prepare a song for usage as background music?

I've converted it to an MP3 with a constant bitrate of 128kb/s, and changed my GX2 CFG file to the directory it's in, but the menu never plays the song, it just plays nothing.

Hi, I just found these issues, when I load rpx, it add a symbol "_" before the title and got stuck like this:
