OTP Guide

Full Guide Release!

https://plailect.github.io/OTP/

All regions now supported!

If you appreciate this guide and the work I put into maintaining it, I accept donations through both Bitcoin and PayPal.

If you felt like the guide helped you out then I'd really appreciate it! If I get enough I may buy a 2DS for testing hardware stuff so I don't break another N3DS.

If the guide didn't help you out then I'm really sorry about that :(

Hey if anything it sets a precedent if us numbskulls can do it, everyone can :rofl2:

I know tucked away in the secret lairs of IRC right now chat rooms are laughing at us noobs asking what to do with OTP.bin. Give us some cred for avoiding bricks! Hahaha

I think we should give credit to those who made it possible to avoid the bricks. Of course, that's just me....

Did 9.2.0-20E => 2.1.0-4E => Dumped OTP => back to 9.2.0-20E without any hardmod on a New 3DS. Had to eject the SD card before booting 2.1.0-4E and reinject it while it was booting, too.

For your N3DS upgrade from 2.1.0-4E to 9.2.0-20E, did you use the D9 build w/spiderhax?

In the tutorial it says to backup and copy your emunand.bin and other files to /decrypt9/ folder, but for me when i did the backup it backed up everything to my root, do i need to make that folder or can i just move my files to the root?
