If it works anything like Brawl, just erasing the texture for the hat will effectively remove it. It will still BE there, but you wont be able to see it. Then again I dont know how much of his hair is modeled so it might result in a transparent hole on link's head lol
I tried to delete the hat but in game it just looks white.
 
Does local play work for anyone? When i try the loading screen takes around 15 seconds for each 3ds then says Connection Lost.
It worked for me. I tried it out with my N3DS connected with my o3DS. I swapped Lucario's and Mega Lucario's models on my N3DS to see how the load times would affect local and it worked fine beyond slightly longer load times going into the training stage and a 10 second delay when using Lucario's final smash.

That's what I was saying earlier. Just deleting that part of the texture will not make it invisible. When you delete that part it's now alpha, however,you need to alter the shader/material to allow for alpha to be transparent. So, until we can edit materials we can't remove his hat that way.
Sorry to repeat myself, shaders and materials are kind of my thing in Brawl!

Odd.

I made a coffee kirby, but if you inhale and then copy their ability the game crashes.

Anyone else encounter this if anyone has fiddled with kirby?

EDIT:

Ike works for some reason, no hat though

Possibly, but I use BrawlBox to do so.

Method:

1) Open the latest BB (BrawlBox)

2) Click File, New, Audio, BRSTM Audio Stream

3) A small window box opens up. Search for your .wav file, click it and the rest is up to you for looping. Making sure you check the "loop" box.

4) Save as a .brstm and then convert that using the tool into a .idsp. I tried this methos and it loops fine in game.
I edited sm4shidspbuild.bat.
Finally ,It works ! Thank you !

I just finished the 'Ready for some more memes' so I decided to upload pictures of what I've done that I haven't showed yet.
What files are these text located in (the ready to fight and ready for the next battle text) and how can I edit them?

They're both .tex files located in different places so you need to use flurry's tex viewer to export as png, edit it to say what you want( I used photoshop), import back to the viewer and export as .tex again

EDIT: 'ready to fight' data/ui/lumen/chara_ready_up/img-00002.tex
'Ready for the next battle' data/ui/lumen/result_up/img-00003.tex sorry I just wanted to tell you some part of what you wanted while I was finding the paths lol
