I'm currently using menuhax v2.1, having a very low boot rate with or without the blank image.
Am I doing something wrong or is this just bad luck?

Does anyone know what updates cause the instability for CFW? Or are there just so many changes from 2.1 to 2.5 that it was better to just base it off that?

EDIT
Could you also upload a build for 9.1 if you have time?

So I put the imagedisplay.png into menuhax_manager folder (there was no existing file there) I still get that pixelated weird screen when I turn on the 3ds

That's part of what me and a few other devs are working on finding out exactly. The intention is to eventually have a perfect fork of ninjhax 2.1 with the latest stability fixes. I doubt even smea knows, otherwise he wouldn't have made the payload as unstable as it has become.

and yes, it was a LOT of changes. We played around with using 2.5 as a base and reverting and ended up finding that 2.1 as a base performed far far better on 9.2, so we ended up backporting 2.5 patches instead of the other way around.

Made a video showing the boot off for those curious.

EDIT: I just remembered that Youtube likes landscape videos and now I feel like a terrible person.

Excuse me but if i have my nands linked can i use this and then delete menuhax so i can install a theme in my emunand since i have a 2ds and cant unlink them
What makes you think you can't unlink your nands because you're on a 2DS? If you are using 4.x MSET you need to get rid of it, then you can format sysNAND with the SD card removed.

It's better using TinyFormat. He'll have issues with NNID on his emuNAND if he formats the system normally.

This Improve the Boot rate by 2 seconds thanks, It's a big deal if it autoboots to emunand when turning on the console , before I took like 10-12 seconds after turning on the 3ds to boot in the homemenu with cfw

freezes for me at imagedisplay.png, im using homemenuhax offline installer; ropbinpayload_menuhax_USA11272_new3ds (not using USA12288), could that be the reason why it is not working for me?

I don't feel confortable with Adf.ly linking as I want to be able to decide if I want to contribute after trying the software, and not blindly before.
Also, Adf.ly is starting to be very picky with adblockers and I don't want to support them (not you, please understand).

So for anyone interested, the payload urls are:
Code:
http://n4ru.it/3ds/lesshax/ropbinpayload_menuhax_[ A ][ B ]_[ C ].bin

Where [ A ] is region (USA, EUR, JPN), [ B ] is corresponding version (14336 for 9.0, 12288 for 9.2) and [ C ] is the system (old3ds, new3ds)

So if I wanted the USA n3ds 9.2 I would put "ropbinpayload_menuhax_USA12288_new3ds.bin" as filename.
