I know that the R4i 3DS RTS, R4i Gold, and Supercard DSTwo work. Other than those, I'm not sure which ones work on the 3DS.

edit: Looking around, doing that'll brick it. I guess rxTools is my only option?

Actually, you're right on the line to downgrade without a hardmod!

First, look here to get the Homebrew Launcher set up. After that, there's a tutorial for downgrading here.

RxTools' devmode/pasta mode or PastaCFW/Mini Pasta and SysUpdater will allow you to update to 9.2. Using any other CFWs with SysUpdater will brick your 3DS.

Is reiNAND supposed to mess up the 3D viewing? It gives me a double image and calibration doesnt solve it.

It's a bug with the N3DS when booting CFW. Putting the N3DS into sleep mode then waking it up will fix the issue.

All CFW have that problem. Closing the 3DS and reopening it is currently the only way to fix it.

Hi, I'm new so I hope this is not so off place... But does anyone know how to bypass the message of "you need to upgrade the system to use the browser" so I can use Broswerhax? I'm trying to downgrade my old 3dsXL 10.1.0-27 to 9.2 but I am unable to use the browser

Someone accidentally updated my N3DSXL to 10.5 before I had a chance to downgrade but they ended up buying one themselves that's still on 9.6 and will let me trade for it. Can I downgrade that new system, set up an emunand, update that to 10.5 then perform a system transfer from my stock 10.5 system to the emunand of the homebrewed system? Is that even possible?

Also can I still use Miiverse on emunand even for backups? I'm not planning to cheat or play out of region games. I just like posting random things on Miiverse.

Unfortunately, I think once you get that message on the O3DS you're out of luck for Browserhax. You could try formatting the 3DS, but I'm not sure that it would even work and you'd lose all of your saves, etc.... Otherwise, you'll need to use a different hax to get into the HBL.

You can't technically. But, If you have the original elf file that was used to create the 3dsx, in ctrulib you can build it as a 3ds or cia file I believe.

Yes, you can downgrade, set up emuNAND and do a system transfer from the sysNAND of the other N3DS to the emuNAND of the CFW N3DS.

Yes, you will still be able to use Miiverse on emuNAND.

If so, how can I do this? Throught normal system transfer?

Hello, just bought a new 3ds and was wondering which flashcart I should buy to play 3ds roms without any region lock (online features are not necessary). Instructions on where and how to install may be required as I am totally new to this (I live in Australia if that makes any difference).

It's ver. 10.5.0-30E; which in hindsight, was probably not the best idea to update...

If you are talking about updating emunand to 10.5, rxTools works with my old 3DS with 10.5 emunand.
If it does not work on your side, try to install another version of rxTools

I got Rxtools to work but I can't use emunand as it goes black when ever I press Y...
