Easy dude, he was a dick for blaming the community for his temporary cancelation and for telling people to wait. But he is working with reputable devs and he's continuing, I guess, for a noob friendly version? Idk. Either way, we're trying to promote activity that is helpful to the community, not burn people at the stake. Hes getting plenty of lash back if you haven't noticed.

"let's see you do better" is a weak argument at best. you don't need to be a chef to know that what you're eating tastes like shit. do you really want bad things to go by just because nobody else can do better?

You can use SafeSysUpdater. It does its job quite well.

Yeah, it is not me who will be using it, it will be a someone not so very tech-savvy and i dont want to be the one who lets her brick it because the program did not do enough checking or warning. I used Sysupdater, no problems for me personally, but i aint gonna give advice that might cause problems. And Pingo said about a month ago, that it will come after the maintenance. But ok, if no KTM release never i'll just tell her to wait until i can make the trip to her and do it myself.

Everyone suggests safesysupdater, but I've seen more reports of errors and soft/hard bricks from it then sysupdater had. Particularly with n3ds. I wonder how many people actually used it successfully.

libkhax is not usable on fw > 9.2 (atm it supports only memchunkhax1, @Steveice10 pushed a pull to add memchunkhax2 but it hasn't been already merged). Maybe you meant libSu or memchunkhax2?

I did have issues.
I used Julian20's libkhax sysupdater, and that semi-bricked my 9.8 N3DS XL (isn't it called frankenfirmware or something? I dunno...)
But then SafeSysUpdater just magically worked just out of the blue and suddenly downgraded everything!

libkhax is not usable on fw > 9.2 (atm it supports only memchunkhax1, @Steveice10 pushed a pull to add memchunkhax2 but it hasn't been already merged). Maybe you meant libSu or memchunkhax2?
