With systems like n3ds the game automatically detect the console language and starts the game with it.

I have a friend who only speaks french and wants me to make all its games start in that language.

I tried to launch mario sunshine with nintendont and the wii system in french and the game was in english.
It was the USA version ntsc, but in canada a lot of people speak french and stores dont sell PAL copies so there must be a french version on every copies (correct me if im wrong)

I tried looking in the options but i saw nothing about selecting languages.

Could you help me with it?

I need to play gamecube + wii games in french.

Most older GC games are in english only >.> although some of my games are in french if I force it ! Metroid prime 2 has french scripts in it!

Better luck with PAL copies.
Most wii games has multilanguage on them, but some don't.

Yup. You can't force a game to play in any old language. The game needs to have that language installed on the disc. And, I'm from Canada. Most games are in English only. Some have French.

Well, actually, it is NOT possible to use french on ANY gc games if the SRAM isn't set to French. The thing here, is that SRAM couldn't be edited without a hack on GC and Wii. So I had a great surprise when I forced French on Metroid Prime 2!

Doing the same on Baten Kaitos makes the text corrupted hahaha.

I have USA Worms 3D and that has the option of English (US) or French.
Usually, I've found that EUR ISOs tend to have EN, FR, ES, IT and DE. and then if there's no French option in the EUR ISO, then the USA ISO may have EN and FR.

There are a lot of ISO sites and scene releases which tell you what languages the ISOs are in before you download them.

You could also take to making some translation patches for the game, too. I wouldn't have the foggiest clue on how to apply them to GC games. >.> Wii games are as easy as hell to patch.

Ok Thanks, also a second question!

I can run wii WBFS roms on my usb hard drive, and i can run gamecube roms from SD (isos converted into folders like G8MP01 with DiskEx)
I noticed that if i put wii games on my ntfs usb drive manually, usbloader could not read them, so i used wiibackup manager, and put them on the ntsf drive and they work.
BUT i tried using it to put my gamecube games on it (usb drive) and they are not compatible, so i tried making a folder called games and putting the game folders in it (exactly like on the sd) and usb loader notices only the gamecube titles on the sd and not the usb drive.

Is there a way to use the usb drive for both wii + gamecube titles? or its usb for wii and sd for gamecube only

Just format the drive as FAT32 and put GC games in "/games" and Wii games in "/wbfs".

You can use Wii Backup Manager to convert your Wii ISOs into WBFS files and it will split them so they fit on the drive.
