Hi,

I bought Pokemon X online (used game) so with the game I got previously owned save on it. I found a lot of good lvl 100 and shiny rare pokemons. Since I wanted to start the game from the beginning because I never actually played this game, I would like to save these pokemons. Is it possible somehow to transfer them somewhere and later just to get them (download or what ever). Also is it possible to cheat pokemons? I would like to check if there pokemons are really real, or previous owner just used cheats to get them. Thanks

You can use a save data manager homebrew (or the SDK app SaveDataFiler if you're on CFW) to dump your save and preserve them on a PC with PKHeX, or use the homebrew adaptation of it called PCHeX (https://gbatemp.net/threads/pchex-homebrew-pkhex.397565/). If you have no homebrew, or don't want to run it for some reason, you can only really get Pokémon Bank and store them there.

I dont need actually whole save, I just want few of these pokemons. Anyway, since I need to pay for pokemon bank, is there any free option? I really don't need that much.. I just need to transfer them somewhere for a few minutes so I can transfer them on my new save.

They're probably hacked, but it's relatively easy to tell if they were hacked badly, there are checks on the servers so if the servers don't consider them legit you won't be able to trade them online. It's possible to make them in such a way that the server considers them legit though. Trade them to someone you know temporarily and reset your save, then trade them back. That's the easiest way to keep them I think.

Thanks, I have tried it, but game requested system update. I'm on 9.2 and don't want to update from this version. Is it possible somehow to avoid it?

The game only requires you to have the newest update for the game to connect, the system only requires 9.2 to be play the pokemon titles. same for the bank. If you can exe the eshop through hacks, download and install both the bank and the newest updates for both. The bank is 5 bucks. Don't be so cheap.

This is no longer true as of yesterday, the 3DS demands the newest firmware before allowing access to anything online related (aside from system formatting), going online in games included. Creating an emuNAND is the most sensible solution to bypass it with a firmware on 9.2 or below. On 9.3-10.3, downgrading to 9.2 or upgrading to 10.5 are the most sensible options, depending on what the user wants to do.

Bs. Only certain games require the newest firmware. I am still on 10.4. Pokemon works online just fine

So, I'm still stuck on the part with 9.2 emunand. Since I can't update emunand because RXtool doesn't suport latest firmware, how can I do all that? I can't access shop nor anything online.

It's not "bs" at all. However, if you've created a franken-firmware on your emuNAND or sysNAND, then you can indeed still be on 10.4 and below and still play online. If you think I'm making it up, see 3dbrew, along with the several other threads on here that mention the update nag; there's even one about Pokemon. Like I mentioned, a franken-firmware is one workarund aside from emuNAND; but if you've not created a franken-firmware, or updated your emuNAND, I can only guess you've simply not received the nag in whatever region you're playing the game from.

Previously you mentioned you don't have Gateway, so I'll assume you're on reinand or rxtools.

I think you are able to save them and retails carts.
If so, you may simply opt to use savedatafiler to extract the save.

Oh God, this method with GTS is ultra slow. Is there any other way to transfer pokemons from one x to or except GTS or Pokebank? Since there is no way to get pokebank for free anymore.
