Hacking Need help with soft bricked N3DS XL (9.2)

Hi everybody! Here's a tricky one for you..

So I just stumbled upon something interesting. This is my 5th 3DS I downgrade this week and this time it's for a friend. I'm always very careful when I downgrade and always use the "safesysUpdater". This time though, it crashed on me in the middle of downgrading. Luckily though it managed to install some of the CIAS to the 3DS. I can access everything besides System Settings or the Web Brower (bad luck, I know). I'm certain that I'm on 9.2 because I can boot into Gateway-mode with the help of Ocarina of Time save-hax. I'm backing up my NAND as I write this.

My question is this; how could I, with the help of Gateway-mode, restore my 3DS without having to update to version 10.5? I thinking of formatting my EmuNAND and that way be able to install some CIAs. But would it be possible to format the SysNAND while being on EmuNAND?

I really need you help guys and girls! Let us come up with something clever!

I'm assuming you don't have access to a Sky3DS? Then you could do Ninjhax / OoTHax.

I actually own Cubic Ninja, but that doesn't work at all. The game crashes when I try to access HBL.

Did you put the boot.3dsx in the root of your SD and chose the correct firmware version from the Ninjhax page for the QR code? Since you seem to have gotten a semi-downgrade, try both the old FW version and 9.2 for the QR.

I know you didn't ask me, but I've downgraded 4 systems, 2 of them were on 9.9, one was on 10.1 and one on 10.2. Been fine for me

Mine was on 10.3 and I downgraded two times. 10.3 > 9.2 > 10.3 > 9.2 If you check the downgrade .ZIP file's md5 and sha-1 and see they are ok, you are good to go.

Edit: used sysUpdater both times.
