Homebrew O3DSXL Randomly shutting off in smash bros

Ok, so about a few days ago, I used to be able to play my smash bros game fine. Now, whenever I try to play it, the 3ds randomly shuts off mid game, whether it is online or not. I have installed the dlc as a cia file, and the weird thing is, I installed smash bros as a .cia file as well, and whenever I play that version, it plays fine, I just don't have all the stuff I do on my retail cart of the game. I have already tried looking up solutions, and I tried re-seating the battery, which did nothing except reset my date and time. I can't really send it into nintendo either, especially since I'll lose my 9.2U firmware I downgraded to. The game also has to run on my emunand, 10.3U, in which the cia version of the game runs fine. Any help or suggestions?

What have you done with your 3DS as of recent? Have you installed any other games or apps via SD?
I had a problem similar. My game would randomly have errors. I found that i installed something to mess up my system. I just had to determine the problem and remove it.

I did not do much between when smash was working, and now when it is not, like recently. I had to reformat my emunand a while ago to get rid of nnid on it so i could keep my dlc, but smash was working for a good period of time after that. I only really have a few cias installed: KH: DDD, smash 3ds (and that one works fine, but my cart doesn't), savedatafiler, gpsp, picodrive, Pokemon x, Pokemon as, and thats it. The game worked after those were all installed, and I believe this just started happening yesterday or the day before. Those were installed like a week ago about.

Since you're stating that you are able to play it just fine on CIA format (digitally) and the problem arises when you are playing from the retail cart, my theory is that the problem may be your cart, do you play any other game in cart? Another possible problem may be related to your cart reader (short of pins, faulty connection). Try to observe if you spot anything weird in your cart bay

I don't really have much I can test it with since the only other 3ds game I have is cubic ninja, and who even plays that game aside from using it for hax? Also, since the pins are covered, it is difficult to tell.

I second this.
I played sm4sh without error and when I created emunand ( I had legit eshop sm4sh)
And when I played it on emunand, It just crashes when I try to enter replay/screenshot share (When loading friend list)
and when I press home button.
I installed all dlc thru cia with bbm.
Can someone help me with this? This is frustrating.

Bump. Still not solved, and savedatafiler apparently only rips saves from carts instead of copying them, so I'm stuck.
