can i have a link for n3ds firm file for the latest rxtool nigthlies build?
this readme.txt in tool folder in the latest build of rxtool nightlies rxTools_2016-01-11.cc4000b:
"cdn_firm.exe :
Use this the first time you use rxTools.
It will generate 'firm' directory, containing files necessary for the toolkit to work.
(for N3DS, you need to provide your own encrypted 'firm' file!)
Once successfully generated, copy 'firm' to your rxTools directory."

I just googled it (as I've also always told people to do...) It's in the very first link that pops up! What's your malfunction?

Here's the latest build: rxTools_2016-01-11.cc4000b (Fixed pad generating)
I create my xorpads with Decrypt9, so I haven't tested this yet.
Use at your own risk.

Thanks for the link. Run \release\Tools\cdn_firm.py and generated a "firm" folder. Then pasted this folder into the rxTools that came with the Nightly. Afterwards I deleted my old rxTools and pasted the new one in the root of my SDcard. Worked like a charm and didn't give me any error(s) at first installation. Some nightly 2 days ago gave me an error so I went back to the stable one I had. I believe I'll stay with this one. (I have made a backup of the good old rxTools I used for the worse). Thanks again.

Btw, might you know any benefits the last couple of nightlies offer?

@dmc310 The gist of it is this. After you have installed everything that is required (ensure you are now using the latest devkitpro, and tailor this path to whatever different things you used, such as a newer imagemagick):
Open your control panel
open system
click advanced settings
click environment variables
find Path

Now edit your path so that anything you just installed is listed FIRST (as in, before everything that was already there before. Devkitpro will throw up if it hits a path with a space or ( in it). Mine looks like this:

X:\devkitPro\msys\bin;x:\devkitPro\devkitARM\bin;C:\Program Files\ImageMagick-6.9.1-Q16;C:\Python27\;C:\Python27\Scripts;C:\mingw\msys\1.0\bin;D:\GnuWin32\bin;C:\mingw\mingw32\bin;C:\mingw\bin;C:\mingw\libexec\gcc\mingw32\4.8.1;

I probably have some unnecessary entries in there, but you get the picture (I hope).

no presinstalled cias, but personal legit cias. :)
https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-pbt-cfw-import-cias-on-your-sysnand.383242/
pbt does let us install personal legit cias, is this added to rxtools?
can anyone check? use FunkyCIA to make a -personal legit cia :)
You can install any CIA,legit or not. This cfw has patches that allow you to go around Nintendo's security.
