if rxtools is incomplete on N3DS, is it recommend to use at all?
I used this tutorial to get CFW, and everything is working, and seeing no problem now I installed all my CIA and such.

it can be used most things work (there are only like 4 missing features) so if you do have rxtools there is no need to switch . . . but just know it is not the . . . most complete cfw you can get on n3ds

Only problem is that rxTools has to install itself EVERY time I try to load the emuNAND up, which is a huge pain in the ass. And CTRBootManager doesn't seem to work properly either, as I still have to hold L down when I boot my system too.

Anyone know how to fx these errors please?

Erm, you had Menuhax in emuNAND and RXtools?
That bound the be a problem......
You can have Menuhax in sysNAND, but not the above.

Try to uninstall Menuhax from emuNAND via changing theme. Otherwise, delete the extdata file that relates to home menu them of the emunand folder of the sd card

Well i'm iffy myself on the EmuNAND and the partition stuff.

But in regarding to your question with restoring the back up before the whole emuNAND stuff, saying "just format your SD card" is not wrong.
By formatting your SD card, you should be removing your partition, thus bring it back to (ex of using 32 gb) 32 gb card where it was 29 gb after the emuNAND stuff.
After that, you can restore your back up and everything be good to go.

go back to the rxtools.zip right click it and select properties then unblock then unzip it then run the cdn_firm.py to generate firmware.bin (never builds will give you 3 .bin files in a folder labeled firm) put the firmware.bin (or the whole firm folder) in dir: sd/txTools/sys and then start the system and load emunand . . .

Start by unlinking nand?

Yes, Unlinking is good, especial since you don't have Menuhax atm. Remember to back up your nand and everythign in your sd card before you do so.

Well, it didn't stop me having to hold L, but it turns out my firmware.bin was completely corrupted or something, you helped me fix the installation issue. Thanks a lot

the other issue stems from menuhax if in emunand and you change the theme it should fix itself

if you want ds roms you need a ds flashcard period but speaking of ds flashcards if you have one that ever worked on a 3ds and was blocked http://pongupdates.wordpress.com/flashcards-working-on-3ds/ you can use it again

Have a DS flashcard?​

If you have a DS flashcard that was able to be used on a 3DS at some point before Nintendo blocked it, you may be able to use it again! Note: The following method will not work for old DS flashcards that were blocked since the release of the original 3DS.

Note: You need to use a CIA installer other than BigBlueMenu. Use FBI or Devmenu_2x
Please read the Understanding FBI at the very bottom of this guide before using FBI.
If you don't want to read that, use Devmenu_2x, it is simpler to use.

Open the Gateway Ultra download and go into the "Blue Card Fix" folder.
There will be a bluecardfix.cia inside; put it on your 3DS sd card.
Insert your SD back into your 3DS.

On your 3DS:

• Launch RxMode Sysnand and open FBI or Devmenu_2x
• If using FBI: Press L to change Destination to Nand
• Select bluecardfix.cia and press A to install it.
• If using FBI: Choose to overwrite the title when it prompts you.
• Once done, exit the CIA installer.

You should now able to use your DS flashcard on your 3DS.
Things to note:

• If your DS flashcard still doesn't work, then it will probably never work on your 3DS.
• You should be able to use your DS flashcard in any mode (Sysnand, RxMode, Devmode/Pasta Mode), but exiting the card will bring you back to regular sysnand.
• Running a DS flashcard will remove your MSET exploit if you have one (see the next section).
• You can use a DS flashcard to easily install the MSET exploit (see the MSET section).

The weird thing is that I have a flashcard but it only boots on sysnand and not Emunand and it can work on the latest firmware since I had been using in my Old3ds prior to downgrading it...When I enter a DS game on emunand, real or otherwise I always get a blackscreen with the message "an error as occured"...any solution? I use an old3dsXl, and the 12-05 build of Rxtools...

If I install the bluecardfix.cia to Nand will I be able to launch Ds cartriges from Emunand or will i get the black screen again?

1. we dont know when a new update will be released but it likely will block the new exploits and as they were reveled before they were implemented
2. you will (assuming you have no copy cubic ninja) use browserhax to install menuhax and use menuhax Homemenuhax V2.1 - Support for FW's 10.2-10.3! to run sysupdater to downgrade (read the downgrade guide at least 2 times) Simple Guide to Downgrading your 3DS

It looks like i cant have HomeMenuHax on both, SysNAND and EmuNAND.

¿How can i launch directly into EmuNAND without having MenuHax on SysNAND?
