Personally, I find them good (7/10). I liked how they included content from the GBA titles and how easily accessible they are. But one thing I dislike about about them (and probably one of my only complaints about these remakes) is that the art looks... Off... It looks like they made every remake on some engine that only allowed them to so little creative freedom art wise.

Other than that, I found them enjoyable to play even though it's art isn't really so good.

So, what's your thoughts?

They're shit; play the originals either on emulators or the original HW. Agreed that they were ran through too many filters, and FF5-6 were completely and utterly ruined from an artistic standpoint. The original SNES versions look vastly superior.

Even though I never played the previous versions of FF6 before playing the mobile versions, I definitely though something was off. After a certain point I played a part of the GBA version and then dismissed the mobile version's art as a "Poorely Made Abomination".

if you can get pasted the art style of FFV mobile and FFVI mobile, look they still are FFV and FFVI
both are still very good games

True, but why play inferior, overpriced mobile versions when you can either emulate or buy the originals or at least the GBA versions? The GBA ports have their flaws as well, namely slowdown which can get pretty ridiculous in FFVI but IV-V are better in that regard. If you want extra content like the GBA versions have, there are so many ROM hacks of FF games(especially VI) that I can't even name all of the notable ones. There are also sound as well as graphics restoration hacks for the GBA ports that make them more similar to the SNES originals, so in short just avoid the mobile releases because they are, as Jekuma put it, poorly made abominations.

FFVI is one of my 2 or 3 favorite games ever so when SE butchered its art it rubbed me the wrong way, so I encourage those who want to play the older FF games to either play the originals or at least play GOOD remakes.(like FFIV GBA, PSP and especially the DS total remake) Original FF6 is one of the most aesthetically beautiful RPGs ever created and I firmly believe that mobile turd SE calls a "remake" dishonors the original game with its cheap ass RPG maker "art" and FFV, while not as pretty is still much better on the SNES or GBA.

Trash. I suggest buying and playing them elsewhere. The games might be ok, but why on a phone? I didnt hate the FF3 and FF4 remakes, even on phones, but when I saw that 5 and 6 were getting ported to phones, I got excited... until I saw that they were butchered RPG maker clones.

After playing a little of the GBA remakes, I realized how everything on a technical level was so good. The sprites were lively and distinct, the music (even though it kinda had a twang) was great. Plus, it was easier to control.

Final Fantasy was meant to be played with buttons. Not with just a screen!

Even better on the SNES or a good SNES emu like BSNES or 9x 1.53. GBA ports are good but without the sound patches they don't sound nearly as good as the originals(even with the patches the originals are better) but most of all, the SNES originals have virtually ZERO slowdown and run at a very consistent 60fps. FFVI GBA has tons of slowdown when you cast shit like Flare, Meteor, Ultima etc while the original keeps a perfect or near-perfect framerate.

I know I'm being a snob but I grew up with the SNES originals. I definitely dig some of the added content of the GBA ports, but SE should've waited until the Ds to port VI like they did with CT.
