GATEWAY ULTRA v3.6.2 PUBLIC BETA
Posted on January 3, 2016

And we are back again with another update! Let’s see what’s new:

– Save edited and found cheats to microSD
– Choose custom in-game button activator
– Added warning in Reset search
– Fixed memory search freeze
– Fixed language switch bug
– Fixed long cheat description bug
– Fixed 16-bit conditional mask support, useful for 8bit conditionals
– Cheat finder exact search cancel support
– Cheat code type Exxxxxxx support (patch code)
– Cheat nested conditionals support

Now you can save the codes entered in the cheatcode editor back to microSD!

In the cheatcode editor, simply press START to save the current code list to a new cheat code.
Or, configure the cheatlist and press X to edit or press Y to remove the current highlighted cheat code.
From the hit list, you can now also press X to add the current hit as a code to the cheatcode editor.

These new features should make it a breeze to edit and save codes, all from within the 3DS! No PC needed!

That’s it for now! And as always Enjoy!

I hope I am the first to announce it! If not feel free to lock.

Not the first to announce, but the first to make a thread.

You'll need to remove all the links from your post unless you're looking to get banned (title, date, and "enjoy"). You can't link to the gateway website here.

I wounder how long it'll be until they add support for 10.3!
Who gives a fuck?

We can already downgrade from 10.3 to 9.2, then you can use one of the existing free CFWs. :yay3ds:

At this stage the only reason to look forward to Gateway supporting 10.3 is that it'll mean 9.6+ emuNAND for us new3DS users.

Done! Sorry in my haste I copy-and-pasted without noticing the links :-)

Well since I don't use cheats I guess no reason to update my launcher. Still good to see the features roll in and get stepped up.

also fixing the n3ds 3d, so i don't have to close my 3ds lol

I made a list a while back about all the things missing that they announced, I guess it's time to upate it a bit.

Old list:
https://gbatemp.net/threads/gateway-ultra-v3-2-2-public-beta.390079/page-5#post-5523887

New:
- 10.3 FW support.
- A fix for the savegame crypto stuff across different rom formats/fw I never understood
- DSi / GBA support
- I remember that they once replied to someone that they are working on a way to not patch ROM headers for every single ROM you want to play online? Like place your header file on the card and it uses this file across all ROMs ? Might be fake, but I remember something like that.
- Save a game without having to exit to home menu ... some people say that this is already implemented, some don't ... anyone knows more?
- Newer emuNAND for N3DS
- 3D fix for N3DS consoles
- Surprise feature that was announced with update 3.0 (thx Michi597)
- Support for more Zelda versions, to make the exploit more compatible (they also asked for help).

Another feature I would be glad about would be an API which opens the way to the SD card inside the GW card, so it can be accessed from within homebrew (like FTP).
Or even add it as a mountpoint from within SD card management on N3DS, because you first see the internal SD card in the explorer once you login onto your 3DS, there they could add the internal GW SD card as a drive.

sure those are nice things, but the n3ds 3d thing is actually a little bug, that surely they can steal from code from some github or something to fix?
because i think karl people said they fixed it, i'm not sure about reinand/rxtools.
those things above i'm not expecting/hoping for really, they are more work.

Making miracles AFTER X-mas. Cool heh? I definitely like the save cheats function, I hate having to research for the same code. In-game saving = time saved.
lol you what now? Just enter the code directly using the cheatlist editor option...

I think the SALT team only claimed it was easy to fix, not that they did fix it. Care to weigh in @WulfyStylez @shinyquagsire23 @Dazzozo?
Honestly, it's pretty low on their todo list and rightly so. It's a half second fix.
