ROM Hack Pokemon Sinking Sapphire and Rising Ruby (Drayano Hack of ORAS) Questions

Hello,

I have seen that there is a new hack out (from Drayano): Sinking Sapphire and Rising Ruby.

Short version:
my question: lets say i theoretically have a (U) Rom from Alpha Sapphire or Omega Ruby, is there a way to extract the exefs.bin and romfs.bin files without homebrewing my 3ds?

Long version:
To patch the game i need a exefs.bin and romfs.bin from the original game. To get those i need to dump a original ORAS Cartridge with a Homebrew Launcher. I tried to follow the tutorials here on the forums but
on my 3ds xl (old) (firmware 4.x) the browserhax does not work, neither does the themehax work.

The browser just says: Some mistake happened and shuts down and the themehax does not work because on my SD card (the big one in the 3DS) there is no such thing as a 3ds folder. I have setup my gateway card and already played rom hacks. So maybe this is the problem here.

First of all you need some way to access homebrew. If you have a save dongle and OoT you can access it. Browserhax no longer works on any console unless new 3ds. Theme hax only works on 9.0+. You need Cubic Ninja or OoT. There is no other current way installing homebrew to do what you are requesting. You also need access to 4.x-9.2 to get exefs working properly. I would recommend buying a 2DS with Cubic Ninja and start doing your stuff from there cuz almost all 2DS have access to cfw because of their low firmware with purchase

I bought a new3ds xl with 9.0.0-20e and i installed CFW with the User Profile Exploit. Setting up my .cias to play right now .. (found them on the internet already patched).
