I am currently in the process of rewriting a large part of the rendering backend. The old code was based on a lot of guess work and shortcuts and some of it turned out to be wrong. It was also very inflexible and hard to maintain whereas the new backend is very modular and easily expandable. More info about that in the upcoming release post.
Regarding x86 support: Cemu needs to reserve 4GB of continous memory which is not possible under x86. While in theory this limitation can be removed it would drastically reduce performance. Aside from that, x86 won't be around much longer for high-end applications and games. I see no reason to support a dying platform.

Any news on the input problems? I hope you agree with me that that is even more fundamental than the rendering issues. NSMB U is almost ok, only missing left stick input. That's exactly what i said!Time to get with the times. And if you don't have the hardware to run a 64-bit OS, you've probably got a slim chance of your PC ever being capable of running a Wii U emulator at anything approaching a playable framerate.

Yeah. What cave did these people come out of to have such ancient PCs?Well, 32-bit Windows can use more than 4GB of ram fine itself, but I'm not sure about allocating that much at once for one program. But, to use 4GB+ you need a patched kernel for Windows. That's not something you should need to do for an emulator. Lol. You guys will have to deal with it and update to a 64Bit Flavor of Windows or forget it and use hardware.

At this point I am out of ideas and it just doesn't seem worth it to spend weeks debugging a single game when I can use the time more efficiently and make progress with the emulator in other areas. There is even a chance that I fix the WWHD/NSMBU bug by accident when I improve emulation for other games.
That doesn't mean that I'll stop looking for a solution, it's just of a lower priority for now.

Well, the Wiimote it was not emulated yet, right? only the Wii U Gamepad. With the implementation of the Wiimote, NSMBU maybe work correctly? It is just a idea/suggestion.

I doubt any school computer would even run cemu above a single fps though. My school computers didn't even have computers in them, they just streamed from a database. It was miserable even using them.
