This is an updated release of the Gameboy Advance emulator, TempGBA4PSP-Mod. I have been working on this for a few months and have made several previous releases, some of which I have posted here.
Most of the code is the previous release from phoe-nix back in 2016. I have previously worked on libretro-gpsp and other variants, so have used my knowledge to backport fixes from there and also integrate additional features (e.g. the new video renderer as authored by David G.F., improving the old renderer by porting the ARM assembly blending routines to MIPS, adding the 'Full Flush' dynarec mode from gpsp/gpsp-kai (some games work much better with this), adding HBLANK IRQ scanline control (can be used to improve speed in games that make heavy use of HBLANK IRQs) etc).
I have used Cursor AI to assist me with making these changes and have carried out a lot of testing to ensure everything works as it should, and have reviewed the code manually/made changes if required. Recently, Reddit user xDan_it has worked with me to introduce UI and Save State functionality changes such as those prominent in this release. Again, Dan has used AI to implement these, and he has passed code to me for review before committing.
I don't think that makes this AI Slop, although the original logo/background on this release most certainly was AI created! So I have reverted that for the time being to the original 'Cats playing GBA' icon that I believe most users already got comfortable with for TempGBA! That is what is in the download.
Anyway - full disclosure. If you don't want this on your PSP due to the use of AI coding, no problem.

Thanks to xDan_it for a lot of work on this release - mainly the Single Game Launcher and Boxart features!
We've added a NEW Single Game Launcher Tool so that you can create individual folders to launch GBA games direct from the XMB! This uses 1 instance of the emulator so you don't need to create multiple versions!
But we've ALSO made it compatible with the GrabowskiDev Single Game tools, so you can use in place of that version to launch GBA games direct from the XMB if you wish!
Also added a Boxart Carousel so you can add box art per game and navigate through a more modern ROM browser! (press Select to toggle between the usual ROM list UI and the Box Art UI).
Other small fixes here and there - the biggest fix is for visual corruption during videos (e.g. Kingdom Hearts intro), I located and backported the fix for this from Libretro gpsp (thanks to David G.F. as always!!!)
Credit to the original authors and contributors - Exophase (original author of gpsp), Takka, Nebuleon, Phoe-nix, David G.F. and many many others who account for about 99% of what is here, and all of them did it by hand!
