Dear GBATemp community,
As this is my first post, I hope it follows all the guidelines. I have been lurking on GBATemp for a long time but have never made a post. My first one is a ray of hope . Also, forgive me if I use incorrect terminology.
I have had Gateway for a year but did not use it too much. I had noticed that my friend accidentally updated my 4.2 EU firmware to 8.1 with SSB. I therefore decided to downgrade it to access the Nintendo DS Profile exploit.
Everything went fine and it downgraded just fine and when I went into the settings menu it was at 4.5.
After that, even though the tutorials told me to do it before downgrading, I decided to format emuNAND. And I think that's the point where I messed up my sysNAND.
After that, I noticed that whenever I went into Gateway, I could not access any other menu apart from the "Boot gateway/SysNAND" ones. What happens is, I press to go, for example, into Downgrade menu to restore my Sysnand and then it just pops me back into the Gateway menu. I have also noticed that my D-pad (the Up button) just keeps repeatedly pressing itself. When I tested out the blue cartridge, I saw that Select button was also hectically being pressed, alongside the up button and I think that is what is preventing me from going into the Gateway sub-menus and restoring my SysNAND, which I do have a backup of.
I am including a video that shows it concisely and hopefully it can be fixed. Apologies for the long text and if there's any extra information I could provide or if there's anything you guys could recommend trying, I would most definitely appreciate it.
