I just forked it. I'm a C newbie, but I've already added a few features to my own version of this. I will start by adding an egg option.

Yes, I'm adding an option to put the selected Pokemon in an Egg, and to set the amount of steps left before it hatches.

I think I got the egg thing done. NO GUARANTEES! TEST ONLY ON POKEMON YOU DO NOT LOVE! At least at first. I can't even test this code because I am at work, but I added some functionality to the OT Friendship level selector to add the Egg option. I chose this spot because friendship and egg steps seem to be the same number, strangely. TEST AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! Might want to make a backup first, this is my first public release:

*UPDATE*
Just got home and it works! Feel free to use on Pokemon you love! Use Friendship to set both Friendship or steps before the egg hatches. Warning, your pokemon's nickname will be reset to 'Egg', but upon hatching you can rename it.

thanks. took a bit of trial and error but i got it running.

will you work on the egging function more? as it seems, right now, all it does is put the existing pokemon into a shell, leaving all data that's normally generated upon hatching (like meeting level and date and though i didnt check, OT data too) in place, even after the hatch.
i thought that hatching might be an easy way to force the game into generating legal values and making the hatcher the ot.

I think the tricky part is going to be changing the starting moves of the Pokemon. Would that be desired? Resetting the level, ribbons, and EVs would be simple, and the OT, met location, and name are indeed reset when the egg hatches. What about memories? Seems wrong to erase memories, although perhaps I am being too philosophical here. Clean slate, I suppose.

i wonder if making legit memories would even work. i guess without data in the memory section, it would create the normal hatched whereever at this date memory values upon hatching, but you'd still be missing the received egg location (usually day care, not sure what it says when the egg is traded) and the receive date. unless that can be inserted from system values?
