Ok, I'll look at adding pre-rendering. Thinking about it this could be used across the board to improve performance, since things like text drawing is quite arduous.

Hi mashers,

I wonder if you did something special to be able to load a big binary (your's is around 1.3Mb). With CtrBootManager i'm unable to get it to load correctly starting from ~700ko, it will either not load or crash on one of the first functions. I'v tried so many things that my brain is burning ..

Thanks,
Cpas.

I'm putting together a custom theme and still having the audio-pop issues on beta 92-93. I've trimmed the clips and resampled via Edison in FL studio, shouldn't be an issue with the files themselves. Changelog states this as a fixed issue, anyone else having similar results?

That said, thanks for the great work on this project! Come so far in a short time, appreciate your efforts mashers et al!

How can I stop this? It's appearing in the bottom screen, I put splashtop.png and splashtop.bin but still isn't working

I'm getting the same with themes that don't have both of the splash screens files splashtop.png and splashbottom.png

Still can't fix it, I put a splash bottom.png but the top still glitches then appears in the bottom
 Do they have the correct size?
1.For the top screen create a 400 x 240 PNG. Name it splashtop.png
2.For the bottom screen create a 320 x 240 PNG. Name it splashbottom.png and place them on your theme folder.

here, I made an updater that downloads the latest version from GitHub (sort-of).

It's currently a beta and there could always be unexpected issues. But I feel it's ready to test it "in production" if you will. @mashers will also include it with the .zip in the original post, until a different updater is integrated into the launcher.

This program does some rather crazy things to get the version number and the .3dsx. More information can be found at https://github.com/ihaveamac/mashers-gl-updater
Wait. Are network issues via lpp-3ds fixed with *hax 2.5? Or is this only for Ninjhax 1.0/1.1?

A 28MB file,enjoy,I'm sorry,it's a Chinese site,but I think you will understand the symbols.
Got it! Do you have the program Audacity? Try removing the metadata about the file when exporting it by pressing clear when "Edit Metadata" shows up. I think it might be reading the title "銀の意志 金の翼" (and others, like album) as audio data, creating a crackle at the beginning of the file.

EDIT: To others that still experience crackling when any audio starts, try clearing the metadata when you export in audacity and report back.

Yes! I updated the instructions on how to make a BGM.bin. Thanks for testing, helped a lot!
Well,However,I noticed that though the pop of beginning has gone, there is another pop at the end of bgm with my file, any idea?

Think you could possibly add an option to give it a custom name for the Software Updater? I use bootCTR (Think that is what it is) so I can choose between this and Smea's launcher.
