Hey, I think you overlooked something. In notch's version of the game, ores seem to damage you like the cactus, but in your version they don't.

That was actually intentional. The idea that ores can kill you if you touch them seems pretty dumb to me.

So a little update on the texturepacks.

Texture packs will be placed in their own sub-directory simply named "texturepacks". Each texture pack will be a .zip file that consists of, at the most, 3 .png files:
  • 'icons.png' will be the main tilesheet that consists of the sprites used by the game.
  • 'font.png' will contain the text font of 2 different sizes used by the game. One 8x8 pixels per character and another 12x12 pixels per character.
  • 'bottombg.png' is the background image of the bottom screen during gameplay.
You do not need all 3 images for a texture pack. For example: if you don't include a font image, then the default font image will used instead.

Also, if you aren't already aware, every .zip file contains a global comment section for notes (Use winrar or 7-zip to edit this). Use this as a description for your texture pack (up to 58 characters).

Attached to this post is the default texture pack for you to modify.

Definitely Sunday night or Monday morning. It's mostly ready right now, but there are still some things that I need to do.

Again, I want to thank you for all of your hard work. I really enjoyed playing this game again after so long. It defiently got a permanent spot on my SD card. :)
All these nice little features like saving and texture packs make the game much more complete compared to Notch's version.
I am really looking forward to beta 4!

I think i make a website with many texture:nds:packs ;o
Should I do it?
or is this :p1ng2:

edit: :p1ng2: No Money :c :p1ng2:

Btw the world dosen't have boundaries
What world doesn't have boundaries? On the 3DS or the original PC version? Because you have to keep in mind the 3DS is nowhere near as strong as a computer so some things have to be limited.

I rather like the 3DS version... But I've never played the PC version unfortunately.
