Hax 2.5 doesn't like capturing the top screen in VC so I took pictures.Pics?
So has anyone had success with injecting Nes roms? GB/GBC games work fine but i haven't been able to get nes roms to boot up, tried multiple VC nes games with various roms and they all result in a grey screen.
oops, didn't see them. ThanksI did 5 posts back, just with gbc ROMs. It's the same menu.
If only the multi-rom menu worked with GB/C virtual console. I think i'm one of the few people who likes playing with the gameboy frame around the game.Hax 2.5 doesn't like capturing the top screen in VC so I took pictures.

how did you get multi rom?
If it's all the same emulator is there a reason why multi-rom doesn't work on GB/C VC?If you have an NES VC you can put the gbc games into that romfs and it automatically switches to gameboy mode, since it's all the same emulator.

I deleted that file, and found out that I was messing up at the HxD part, after inputting fff as the offset you hit enter, and then a bunch of stuff will be highlighted, and then you delete that. I wasn't because I've never used a hex editor before and had no idea what I was doing. After I figured out why I was a dummy it now works just fine.Am I supposed to rename the replacement rom to the same filename that the original rom was or something? Nothing seems to be working. It just stays on a black screen for about 15 minutes.
I'm using Link's Awakening as a base.
I wonder if that patch file in the romfs folder is the cause.
Do you know if you're still limited to one save when using multi rom?I'm not sure. It could have to do with the fact that NES games need certain info in their header. So they would just throw a bunch of ROMs with the info in there to test more than one at once? I really don't know.
