dummy browser is only included in game cartridges. The browserhax fix is most likely info sent by your 3ds and not something installed.

yeah mine definitely isn't the dummy browser, i haven't had any game cartridge in my system in a long time. however, my 3ds was on and in sleep mode for the past two days on the home screen. they definitely pushed something to my device without me knowing.

Hmm, i saw that in the browser menu settings there was a option about ''proxy'' is there a chance that if that is used/changed to something similiar to the dns options of the first page that it can be fixed ?

My bad, Still there is for lack of term "a hidden bomb" within 9.9+ update that triggers data transfer between the 3DS and Nintendo to trigger this "bomb". While there is a work around for N3DS, O3DS browser is pretty much bricked at the time being.

doing exactly this, page is just endlessly loading. oh, the internet browser cannot be used message just popped up. bah.
If you got a connect connect error message this would lead me to believe you don't have the dummy browser. My n3ds got this message as well but then it worked after another 10 or so tries, seems like it's just random when it works.

He says it's still not working. He reboots, presses the link, but then the error message appears.
That's one strange thing for sure. Well. He could probably reset the browser, delete everything like cookies and history. Then install the browserhax from scratch. I am using my browserhax this very moment.

yea looks like o3DS's got secretly updated as i see a diffrent browser version (i guess we got dummied. )

(more or less trying to make it work as i got a 32GB SD Card today and unsure if just Mirroring over and resizing the partition from my old one is going to work.)

Browserhax seems to be completely dead for me.

I tried completely clearing my browser, scanning the code before 20 seconds, and it doesn't work.

I've also tried scanning it without my wi-fi on, get an error, turn it off, turn it back on, and then enter the browser as soon as I quickly can.

And for the record, I own a North American New 3DS XL with 9.9.0 firmware.

A bit of a shame, but I'm glad I still have Ironhax.

i get this error only when using DNS and toggling wifi on once the browser is open. i've tried maybe 30 times so far, no success.

otherwise i always get the system update error.

Are you sure you installed browserhax the right way?
Because, you know, you have to scan the QR code with your wifi OFF and let the browser kick out.
