Its going to take a loooooong time to dump ORAS. Im currently dumping it. Its 1.8 gigabytes by the way. Im about 200 mbs in and its been about 2 hours
I know. I started to dump several hours ago. I'm just afraid that there might not be enough space, at the end of the extraction.

I was working on a rom hack of omega ruby. it seems pretty easy to do. then i see this. and wow. already dumping smash. those 9ish years of brawl modding will hopefully help me with smash 4. so hyped to start replacing music and stuff.

I second that. I've been dumping for a few hours now, and I'm still dumping Alpha Sapphire.

EDIT: Also, pro tip, always make sure you have enough space in your SD card. My dump got an error when missing 100MB left because of space...I feel so bad now... ;-;

I started to dump Omega Ruby more than 4 hours ago. Yet, there seems to still want much to finish. </3

I've dumped Link Between Worlds but am having trouble with Triforce Heroes, does it use some kind of new encryption or something?

As mentioned already, it takes a loooong time to dump the Pokemon games. Hopefully there's room for improvement in this area. But it's a promising start for braindump anyways! Looking forward to seeing where this goes.

That's for cart dumping from arm9. Brain dumps from RAM which is plaintext. There's some other problem.

Please add buffer size option on future update.
It depends more on your SD speed. I have my own romfs dumper that does it 10MB at a time and it still takes a while. Especially if it can't open the SDMC archive right.

I know about the dump speed denpend on the SD card speed. but I have a faster SD card class (10) read/<40mb write/<80mb.
also I set the classter (unit) size to 16kb on diskpart foramt.

The title is pretty misleading, since it doesn't work on all system versions...
Nice work though

So the games with the new encryption(?)/anti-piracy check (Fire Emblem if, Zelda: Tri Force Heroes, etc.) can't be dumped with braindump. Am I right, so far?

If so, is there a possiblity that this will overcome that problem?

i have a Class 6 8GB SD card in mine i 'm Still dumping and its been 7hrs and only 89% done those getting 10mb/s are you using Class 10's?

You magnificent man. This is exactly what I've been looking for. Gonna have fun playing around with this stuff.
