Can we get an update to the compatibility list for Wonderful 101? Technically the game is playable, but the load times are 20 mins to start, and the sound stutters are pretty bad. Not to change it to unplayble, but maybe update the notes, possibly change the color to orange? The main thing is to let people know that "slow load times" actually means up to 20 mins to load.....

It could take even longer if you have a really slow card. I mean, I'm not going to add comments for everyone's loading times. It can vary to vastly with SD cards if you ask me. I'm pretty sure I've seen comments that it loads fairly quick for some people. And if that's the case, it's likely not an issue with loadiine, but your, and other's, hardware.

Maybe adding "Fast SD card recommended" or "extremely slow loading on general purpose sd cards" or something

I found there was no difference between a class 6 and a UHS1 card for loading times. I found removing the Jap or English voice folder holding 2000+ files did reduce the time greatly, from 30 min to around 15.

Put in that the absolute fastest loading time would be 20 minutes, and that your mileage may vary

I know the search button..

But I follow the post on the top ..

can't pass the wupinstall...so...sad

www.wupinstaller.com/wi

next home menu is freeze..

do you know how to solve ?

its there in the post on the top. Common problem section

Black Screen/No Error/Artifacts/Crashes on Browser Mii: There seems to be an issue with the current Webkit exploits if you do a major system update or choose the option to do a full Browser Data Reset (or have just never used the Browser before). To resolve this, follow these steps:

1. Open Multiple tabs with heavy content sites (Youtube, Facebook, etc.)
2. Press Home then return to the main dashboard
3. Power off your WiiU properly from the controller
4. Turn it back on and test the WUP Installer again

Can someone please help. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I am able to run the loadiine kernel exploit, then launch Loadiine. However it keeps showing 0 games when loadiine launches. I have followed everything on the tutorial. I've ripped my own games and copied to the SD as listed, also downloaded a ready to go just copy version and still show 0 games. I've tried 3 different SD card and all. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Any help is greatly appreciated

Thanks

make sure you are using the new folder structure.

SD:\wiiu\games\

Example:
SD:\wiiu\games\Yoshi's Woolly World\code\
SD:\wiiu\games\Yoshi's Woolly World\content\

Save files are created on first launch

I'm confused now so no more this structure below? Is there a new tutorial on how the new SD should look like?

SD:\_rpx
SD:\_sav
SD:\XXXX

Yah, I guess I would want to know what fairly quick means for people. I mean 20 mins is long enough to where most people would consider it crashed. But we might also want to mention that the sound stutters and actually gets out of sync a bit. Just suggestion though as the game does technically work, but not perfectly (stutters). On a slightly related note, I'm sure someone has already tried, but I wonder if Bayonetta 1 or 2 just needs a 20+ min load time to start? I'm sure the engine behind the game(s) is the same tech used for W101, so it wouldn't surprise me if it had similar loading issues...

For SD cards, I'm not too knowledgeable on speeds and their class numbers, but isn't a class 10 supposed to be fast?

games that are generally just going to take a while to load will have output on the server, as it loads files up....not that i have tested either game, but generally if there is no signs of life on the server for 10 mins its probably just a "not working" game

Hey everyone. So we've been working on several things with @golden45 on loadiine and there has been progress. There is progress especially in loading RPL/RPX and the limitations with it. Checkout the github for the new sources, detailed changes, a new README and the compiled binaries.

Those games, that did not work before, were tested by golden45 and confirmed working:
Disney planes (multiple rpl less than 4MB)
The Amazing Spiderman 2 (rpl with uppercase and bigger than 4MB)
Sonic Boom Rise of Lyrics (test with rpx bigger than smash bros)
Devil's Third (rpx bigger than smash bros)
OZombieU (rpl bigger than 4MB + specific patch in fs for rpl)
Hello Kitty (rpl)

There are probably some more that do work now as the limit is now 25,47MB for RPX and RPL. Since they are loaded seperately now and dynamicaly as needed from SD you can use those 25MB for RPX and then reuse them for a RPL and after that for the next RPL. So the limit is 25MB but it is a limit per file not an overall limit and there is more memory to come ;). We would appreciate all feedback on the compatibility changes. So it would be great if you would report what is not working and what is not.

Also @golden45 found a way of autolaunching the Smash Bros U game from Mii Maker. This only works on the physical disk game (not eshop version). It has an issue though and is not always working for some reason that needs to be found out yet (at least for me). For golden45 it works everytime but on my WiiU it works only from time to time. So everyone has to see how it works for him/her. It is a nice feature as it skips the annoying nagging for update of that game. If you dont want the autolaunch you press X-Button in the game selection menu. With A-Button it will try to autolaunch and if that fails its returning to Mii Maker as before and you do the old way back to system menu and smash bros game launch.

PS: On github it says some "thompeng" did some commits. But that is actually wrong reference github is doing. Its @golden45's commits and the name is just somehow modified by github after merging from wip repo to public repo.
