Homebrew Why has everyone been staying on 9.9?

The rule of thumb is that you don't update until you're sure that everything is okay and homebrewers give the go-ahead. It's also in the hope that something shows up that we may not have found until much later. It's unlikely but still a possibility.
 
There was a ARM11 Kernal sploit "scare". It was real (I think that's what I read, idk) but it wasn't an exploit. Just a vuln, and no exploit to get us their so yeah no use unless @MassExplosion213 has made only progress. Hope that helps.
 
I will say that as soon as the next Sm4sh character is released my hand will be forced and I'll need to update. A man has to have his priorities.

they stay on 9x inhope. hope that they can forget the system for like a year and come back to find all kinds of tweaks for it like i did my psvita:teach:
 
Honestly, for the answer to this, just check 3dbrew. See what all was patched. And then realize this. The "elites" have a lot of private stuff. Would they really tell you that their exploit was patched? No. There's always unreported updates and fixes.

Well, we do have proof at least some of that is correct.

that's exactly what happened to me with my 3ds. it was in february when i found out it had 7.1.0

I have that new multiplayer Zelda game on pre-order on the eShop. So I need to be on the latest firmware.
