Good to know. I'll definitely make a backup of the Smash save to USB before trying anything.

Also, how are people getting their hands on so many WUDs? We can't dump them ourselves (right?) and searching for them gives me extremely limited results. I'm not asking for warez; just baffled at the ability of people to get these.

I can also confirm that the Smash save file doesn't get overwritten or deleted (at least for the games I tried, NES Remix and DKC:TF).
Also, I am using a 128GB SD card with no problems.

Dude, come on. One page back:

They're created on the SD Card, in the save folder you have to set up during sd preparation.

I just tried 3d world. the loading time takes so long, like about 3min. do you think it gets faster with a faster sd card? do you think the dev behind it tested it with the fastest cards?

At least you're playing the game eventually. Don't ask too much rather enjoy the show. Other people are screaming out there because they've updated their system my mistake. Please give the dev sometime to tweak their loader.

It means you can't use it right now, but maybe in the future.

I'm not complaining, I'm glad it's working. I have a really old and small sd card, I just wonder if it can get much faster if I buy a new one.

edit: is it possible to read somehow the wii u usb hdd on a computer? maybe the save files are somehow compatible.

edit2: just checked a video someone trying 3d world with loadiine, it's sooo much faster. looks like I need a need sd card.

Old and small doesn't necessarily mean bad, but yeah, a better (class) SD card will have better loading.

I'm so mad that I updated, but I really wanted to play for glory smash :/. Anyway cheers to the dev behind this and those who are currently able to enjoy it, and here's to hoping an exploit for those of us on newer firmware gets released sometime soon.

yep and all the noobs were saying its stupid and useless to have them with no way to use them... Now there is a loading method and we all ready got WUDs to try out. don't they feel dumb now...
