About FBI, I think I found out why a black icon box appears in emunand. It came up after I installed the latest FBI. So how could I remove say, the H&S safety version? That may remove the box.

Don't know if it will help but when i first installed rxtools and installed fbi, i had 3 black box icons. All i did was update my RX-E emunand and the boxes went away. I never removed the H&S version either.

http://lavanoid.no-ip.org/ is back! Eveything is now moved to Github! Now we can still build nightlies without the need to worry about those DDOS morons. The redirect is managed by no-ip so I don't even need a server. I'd also like to say "nice one" to the DDOS gang who crafted false return addresses - pretty smart.

I managed to set up the latest nightly with themehax, very cool! Will rxTools become regionfree in the near future? I need to use Free Multi Patcher after every reboot to regain my out of region games, so there's still a slight disadvantage compared to Gateway EmuNAND.

I followed the guide and it works well on my 9.2 N3DS. I used the "alternate" rxtools.3dsx file, though.

Just updated rxtools so I can coldboot it and it still has that problem where it needs to install the data suite every time. This only happens on some of my 3ds's (it happens to be the two that have modified AGB_Firm. Is this a coincidence?)

Just use the rxTools/data folder of your working 3ds.

On what, and in 0 timeout for autoboot? Also, about the black icon box, updating emunand doesn't work, especially when mine is already updated. It has to be caused by using H&S FBI to install an updated FBI.

How? I never used any of the features of rxtools before besides rxmode...

First, on your pc install python-2.7.10 if you have not already. Next on your pc in the release folder that rxtools nightly comes in, there should be a folder called Tools. Inside of that folder you should see a file called cdn_firm.py. Double click that and it should download a firmware.bin file for you to use.

That's how i did it.

This fixed my problem. I'm assuming my firmware.bin was outdated as it was under 1mb before I downloaded the new one (which is about 3mb)

Now we just need some better boot rate. Boots about 50% of the time for me.

For me it did not seem to effect it, but if it does for you then you should be able to install it after the emunand update without having the black boxes appear.
