Hey folks, It seems like I can't install FBI on emunand either by injecting it with rxTools options or by using FBI in the HBC (in rxTools mode of course).. Is that normal? Is there any workaround?

Having the same issue but installing FBI on sysnand. All I want to do is run sysupdater to update my 4.2 sysnand to 9.2 for the themehax

Try to inject FBI directly on your nand backup : https://gbatemp.net/threads/release...ect-generator-jpn-usa-eur-chn-kor-twn.391525/
then test it on your emunand and if it works flash it on your sysnand.

So I have an O3DS on 9.2 and got themehax working. However, rxTools is stuck on the "Installation Data Suite", and never progresses past the second box. Any ideas? I got everything working on my New 3DS, but can't get it to work on the old one.

No, I grabbed the firmware from reinand (so about a meg in size). Where do we find the correct one?

I used the firmware tool in the rxtools nightlies folder, the .bin file is 3.40, that didn't work in booting up RXtools through HomeMenuHax

That's the one for N3DS, for O3DS, go into Tools folder and run cdn_firm.py (you've got to install python first if you haven't yet)

For some reason I believed the firmware from reinand was the same as the firmware required here. Yeah, that was completely my fault. Thanks Verse

For those who might help me (thanks to them ^^) :
I'm on N3DS 9.0.0.20E and I've setup rxTools and emuNand sucessfully Now I'm trying to install cias on emuNand-rxMode by using FBI with HBC, and it won't work.. I've tried injecting FBI into H&S app in rxTools menu, it didn't work.. I've also tried to manually inject FBI into H&S using nand.fat16.xorpad (extracted by rxTools), NAND.bin (in fact emuNAND.bin, extracted with emuNand Tool) and Riku's tool and it didn't work neither (I've got "Input FAT16 XORpad file is not valid" while launching extract_nand.bat).. Am I missing something? Is there another way?
