Um yeah, no that'll never happen PS2 is 15x more powerful than the 3DS (I know it's sarcasm).
Overclocking would be nice to run Emulators faster (play Playstation games at maybe 40 FPS instead of ~20 FPS on O3DS) as well as certain games, much like you can make the N3DS run at 800 something MHz playing 3DS games and Pokemon battles are fluid. I'd open my 3DS and install better cooling if I could overclock (replace the cartridge slot with a cooler even, since I rarely use it).

Holy thread revival, Batman! What was the point of this post? Why not just keep the overclock discussion in the thread that is already popular here? Responding "Ps2 emulation will never happen, even though I know your comment was sarcastic" isn't exactly valuable discussion to warrant digging up this thread.

P.S. overclocking is now possible on the n3DS, in case op ever logs back into his account.

That's not overclocking, that's disabling underclocking.
It's also N3DS only.
