rxinstaller.nds is an nds homebrew. You need a DS flashcart.
rxinstaller.bin is used with the spider (O3DS web browser) exploit.

msetdg.bin must be placed in the root of the SD.

I tried opening rxinstaller.bin directly with the Spider, but it doesnt load. I need to loar RX2.6 and then load it there?

I loaded the mset downgrade, now I have 6.x mset, but rxinstaller.bin still wont boot.

rxinstaller.bin doesn't boot anything.
You run it and the bottom screen will glitch a little, then you hit HOME and wait until the error pops up.
Rebooting the 3DS after that is good too.

Welp, for the firmware files you could download my nightlies and run "MSETDG". It has options for getting the firmware files that you need.

Oh, haha. For some reason the first two lines were uncommented so I commented them back in. Must've been when I copied some backup files

But yeah, those first two lines of code were "Raspberry Pi Specific" so I'll have to re-write them later

Looks like I gotta fix those indentations.

Thanks, works great on my 9.0 O3DS. With this + the modified version of themehax I can now autoboot on rxtools at start.

Does pressing L, then going to Sysnand (X mode) crash for you?
Also, if you set "Autoboot to Sysnand" in the rxTools menu settings, it will crash everytime you reboot?

So, rxtools is safe enough for n3ds? For final user purposes of course.
I use it on my o3ds and waiting for it to be stable for my n3ds and store the gateway away

Hello guys, I have recently installed the 9.2.0-20E firmware pack using sysUpdater (the patched version, to keep the exploitable MSET).
Now, I can install the ROP Chain for rxTools 3.0 using a flashcard (4.x won't work, I have to choose 4.x DG and it boots seamlessly). How about the rxinstaller.bin?
I've tried to run it (it was working on my previous sysNAND, 4.1): I get the grey screen, but an error message is returned and I'm forced to reboot my console.
Is there a rxinstaller.bin for downgraded MSET (just like there is the "4.x DG" option using a flashcard)?

Okay, so I downgrade the mset to 6.x (rxTools 3 deletes the msetdg.bin)
I go to sysNand. I use SpiderExploit on rxinstaller.bin. Screen glitches, I push Home and a error is shown telling stuff about an error, telling me to save my current apps and restart the system.

I reboot, and I go to settings. It still shows 9.2.0-20E.
I go to DS profile and shows this:
