see the other posts. libkhax is not working on ninjhax2.0 with a new 3ds. It works only on o3ds. That is the reason FBI and Brahma II are only working on o3ds

Brahma actually doesn't use libkhax.

ok update: i deleted everything in the data file but the renamed firmware.bin (renamed properly with the orig) and now rxtools boots but hangs on boot into emunand w/ patches.

so is anyone able to use n3ds w/ rxtools? give a step by step quick and dirty procedure?

1. Copy the release/rxTools folder on your sd card root.
2. Create a data folder inside the rxTools folder and put reinand's firmware.bin inside. Rename the file 0004013820000002orig.bin.
3 (If you use ninjhax) copy the release/ninjhax/rxTools folder in your "3ds" folder.

CakesCFW now supports boot from Ninjhax 2.0, and cold boot with ThemeHax. I hope the same features are added to rxtools

I've been looking for a while for the info on how to boot the latest (9.17 or 9.18) rxTools build with mset on n3DS and was wondering if anyone could provide a quick answer.

I've downgraded to 6.x MSET on my sysNAND, and I've tried installing both the "rxTools3.x 6.x" rop and the "rxTools3.x N3DS 9.x" rop via the latest version of FBI, but no matter what I get the "An error has occurred, forcing the software to close. The system will now restart" message.

Does FBI have support for the latest rxTools rop, or would I need a flashcard/sudokuhax to install it?

P.S. rxTools boots fine and works great from ninjhax, but would prefer the convenience of MSET.

Ah, ok. For some reason I thought it was only 6.x that rxTools supported, and I switched from my 4.x mset I'd been using with rei to 6.x.

Yes, you can system transfer.
You just need to use FreeMultiPatcher to spoof the firmware.

Just make sure to set up everything and doing a NAND backup before trying anything.
That way, even if you screw up something for some reason, you always have a way to restore it.

Unless of course the source system is higher than 9.5 in that case you can't do a system transfer as the N3DS emuNand is stuck at 9.5 max.

Yeah, it will work with no problems.
You want to system transfer from O3DS emunand to N3DS sysnand? Or from O3DS emunand to N3DS emunand?

In any case, basically you'll have to do this:

3DS XL sys10.1 >> O3DS emu10.1
Then, downgrade O3DS emu10.1 to emu 9.0
Then, O3DS emu9.0 >> N3DS 9.0sys or emu
