all hid controllers are suported as long as you make a controller ini for it and place it on the root of your device that has the isos.I recently bought a Thrustmaster GP XID.
Now as it's name hints, i probably already have my answer... there's no chance it supports USB-HID right? I'm kind of a noob with such things.
the easiest path is to use codes/gameid.gct, really the only difference between usb and dvd is the command to read its data, all the other code is the same so cheats should work just like that.If I want to load a retail disc with cheats through Nintendont, all I need to do is to create a folder with the ID and the GCT inside just like a game on a USB? Is that easy?
No, it works. You just can't use rumble, since you can only plug in one portDoes the original Wii (no GC ports) work with the official GC adapter for this? I've read that the adapter is not compatible with the Wii...
You can plug the second port into something else for power though. I have the second port on mine plugged into a powered USB hub (along with the Wii U HDD's Y-cable's second plug) as I don't want to have crud hanging from the front of my Wii U.No, it works. Careful when mixing power sources like that, unless the HUB is also directly connected to the Wii U.You can plug the second port into something else for power though. They are both on the same surge protector, but otherwise independent. http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00GSNNWDACareful when mixing power sources like that, unless the HUB is also directly connected to the Wii U.

SDHCs work fine on >=4.0 (Not in some games, however Letterbomb will work)Hi guys! Excuse my ignorance, I'm pretty new to Nintendon't and hacking in general, but it seems I cannot find a concrete answer to my question.
Anyway, I've looked over how to install this, hack the Wii, etc. I'm just about to buy an SD now. I'm looking at a Kingston Class 10 (32GB) SDHC mSD with an adapter. I've heard people say SDHC doesn't work, but I've heard others say it does on a 4.3 Wii. I've also heard people say that Kingstons won't work either. For Nintendon't itself or the Homebrew channel, I have no idea if this'll work. I'm looking at hacking with the "Letterbomb" method, btw. So yeah, will this mSD + adapter set work, or should I look elsewhere?
It probably doesn't - FAT32 works fully (maybe NTFS, USB Loader GX has support for it) and IIRC GPT is a Linux-based filesystem, so while we could develop a library for it (open-source) a lot of people wouldn'tI didn't feel like searching the thread more because "gpt partition" and "gpt disk" didnt really show what I wanted, at least the results I checked, so I'm just going to ask. Does Nintendont support GPT disk type? Or is that an IOS thing?
wiimote and nunchuck dont use controller inis, only hid controllers use controllers inis, BT controllers are hardcoded.Trying to set my nintendont up so I can play with both a gamecube controller and a wiimote+nunchuck. How do I set that up? I can't find a controller.ini for the wiimote+nunchuck anywhere.
I wouldnt see any reason for that to not work, the code is all in place for 4k support.if it's bigger than 2TB, your drive is probably using 4096 bytes/cluster (or anything in-between 512 and 4096), which is not compatible with nintendont.
