Okay, possible fix for freezes: Tried it the last half hour now to launch the exploit. After editing the existing bookmark to point to "/wi" it worked, EVERY FREAKING TIME for some reason! Even with my old SD Card... Wow...

You can't install the real 5.5 because the system thinks it's already 5.5 ... that's about it

That is not correct I think. It still asks me to update and I have to keep the servers blocked else it will download.

For me it doesn't work, don't know why.
The exploit runs, the browser quits to the "home button menu", I open the browser a second time, load the same URL again, the browser quits a second time. Afterwards I went to the home menu and waited a bit (as I don't know how instant "instant" may be ), then I rebooted, it still said 5.3.2E and wont connect to the Nintendo Network :|
I even reformatted my SD card and redownloaded the EU version.bin (the pre made package). :/

dcim was me testing the save picture on mii and works perfectly with my sd card, i wonder if the first installation went wrong or something and now im stuck on a semi 5.5.0 and 5.3.2

Please post a picture of your SD card with the installer folder open and the path in the address bar

I'mtrying to load 5.5.0 butit does the exploit buit on the 2nd try back to the main menu it freezes or are you supposed to go to the mii part asap after 2nd go or stay in main menu and wait? is it supposed to freeze?

@SonyUSA you were right about having to keep trying until it doesn't fix.. sadly it fixed the 2nd time i loaded the exploit It's really a hit & miss
