Homebrew So what can we OG3DS peasants do with homebrew?

Hi there, i've been lurking for some time and i'm naturally interested on homebrew, right now i have an original 3DS, no money to get a N3DS and i'm pretty confused about what can and can't be done on my little blue.

Let's say i have my O3DS with ironhax working on 10.1, is there anything i can do apart from changing my home menu theme?

Emulators that work at half the speed of the n3DS (except GB). Or lie down and cry over your misery and peasantry.
Oh, and an alarm clock! And a couple of homebrew games (maybe)

Well, that sounds dire. At least i'll be able to play Belmont's Revenge on my 3DS :/

Portal 3DS also works fine on o3ds, i feel your pain. Have A o3ds.

Most emulators will be slow but every other hombrew application or game should work fine on a old 3ds.

gb(c) emulator and nes emulator you can edit save data . . . i think a 3ds to pc game-pad homebrew app and . . . i dont know anything else besides that cool ass home menu app

Is there one that works well? Just tried Retroach NES core and runs at 50% speed more or less. Shame because that OG Castlevania looked wonderful

I tried QuickNES core or whatever its called.
Worked fine on my O3DS.

No NES yet, but blargSNES is the only full speed emulator for old 3DS. And Game Boy/Color.

but it cant play mario rpg so i am not satisfied with it but yes i get full speed with that one

But it plays EarthBound almost flawlessly, and F-Zero. I'm happy. Most games work.

Just download the latest build, put the "nxengine_libretro" folder in your SD card (3ds folder), download Cave Story (http://www.cavestory.org/downloads/cavestoryen.zip) and put the Cave Story folder on your SD root. Now open Doukutsu.exe with nxengine and have fun

It works great on o3DS
