Does anybody know what causes the issue in Mario Bros 3 where you cannot move on the world map? Curiously, the same thing happens in Mario World when loading the Mario All-Stars+Mario World cartridge, yet standalone Mario World works fine.

Yeah, it's built from the latest git.Wait, mGBA is part of this now?

¿So we continue downloading the nightly of mGBA from libretro that´s right?Yeah, it's built from the latest git.

You can get it from RetroArch or the mGBA website. Doesn't really matter. Please note, only the one from RetroArch is going to have a nice UI.¿So we continue downloading the nightly of mGBA from libretro that´s right?

But still be different files? cause the mGBA .3dsx from libretro sizes 1,50mb/ and the .3ds from mGBA page sizes 880kbThe nightly mgba should still be a little bit further ahead than the Libretro version because they have to build theirs from the latest source.
The original mgba team doesn't necessarily have anything to do with the Libretro implementation. But Libretro can legitimately integrate it because it uses a FOSS licence.

Well if you added it, it's still running great. 60 fps in DKC.55fps ? wow I expected less. the normal CATSFC build is generally 50% or so faster.
I'll add it to the nightlies then.

I'd assume they're just pulling the latest code from the git. So it would be.Indeed, they are different files. The Retroarch version of mgba is implemented into the Libretro framework, with the Libretro GUI, settings and everything. Standalone mgba is completely separate.
The Libretro team simply use the freely available mgba source to build their mgba-based core. This may or may not be based on the latest nightly.

True. But that's a stable release vs a release candidate. It's different. All the mGBA builds are alpha. It's still not necessarily kept up to date with the latest nightly. For example, the Genesis Plus GX core seems to be based on 1.7.4 rather than the latest 1.7.5 RC1. Only alispider can confirm if they're actively keeping the mgba core up to date.

The games can be anywhere you want on your SD card. For the cheats, IDK.For CATSFC and mGBA, where do I put games, cheats, etc? I am using Gateway. Thoughts/help appreciated![]()

The mSD card in Gateway, or in my N3DS system? The games can be anywhere you want on your SD card. For the cheats, IDK.

IDK, whichever one your emunand loads installed games from. I can't really answer these kinds of questions. I can't support the CIA builds. The mSD card in Gateway, or in my N3DS system?
Place the roms on the 3ds SD card. Not the gateway one.The mSD card in Gateway, or in my N3DS system?
I also like the gyro controlls! If retroarch implemet it that would be awesome. I'm having fun with wario ware twisted but the scalling is not good on fullscreen with mGBA atm.Mgba has one pro. It supports lower screen turned off during gameplay![]()
