Hi everyone, please forgive me, but it's been years since I modded my wii so I am coming up short on how to get my backups working again.

I have a 500gb HDD which is in WBFS format, and has been working fine with USB Loader GX up until today. When I tried to play a game which has previously been working, it came up with a blank screen. I reboot the wii, and now USB Loader GX shows no cames.

I attempted to update the CIOS to ISO250 and it has had no affect - now however, when I try to install any other CIOS version, it freezes, the music continues playing, but none of my wii remotes respond.

I am googling this, but honestly, I don't know where to start. Is there anyway I can re-install the cIOS, and then USB loader?

My Wii hasn't been updated since it's been modded, and it was modded at least 4 years ago.

Any ideas?

Mind posting a SysCheck? Also, WBFS has been abandoned and is unreliable. I'd look into switching over to FAT32 (you'll have to use the WBFS file format, not the WBFS partition format), NTFS, or EXT2.

Thanks!! I will look to changing my HDD to FAT32 - maybe this could be the issue? I'll look up how to do a syscheck and get back to you.

Ok so I got the WBFS system working - for anyone looking to try it, I took out my SD card and it looked like my cIOS app directory had been corrupted. I downloaded the new cIOS installer (https://code.google.com/p/d2x-cios-installer/downloads/list) and installed ISO 249, and ISO250 following the instructions (https://code.google.com/p/d2x-cios/wiki/How_To_Install) my games now play again - phew.

Next thing I will be doing, now I know I'm living in the past - is upgrading to FAT32.
