So I wanted to get the Japanese version of Super Smash Bros installed on my Emunand and it seems to still be in English, any idea? I had the english version installed at the same time so I deleted both and I'm reinstalling the japanese version but was wondering if I missed something or why it would be in English.
Sysnand 4.5.0-7
Emunand 9.9.0-26

Maybe the english language files are still available in the game even if it's the japanese version.

Try to use the "langemu" that exists for NTR 3.0 which allows you to change the language.

Yep I did what Pokemoner said and worked like a charm! even games that would not work on English Nand
like Tobidase Doubutsu no Mori, worked perfectly :)

It seems it doesn't work, is it possible due to the fact that SSB4 reboots? That or I have the plugin wrong, I have it in SD:/plugins/00040000000B8B00/langemu_jp.plg

I have the feeling that it is indeed because it reboots on the o3DS, but I've never used this plugin before so it could be something entirely different.

I can't boot NTR after I boot smash so im 99% sure that's why, any other way to make it load Japanese besides changing my emunand region?
The only other thing I could think of would be swapping the Japanese and English audio files and everything else in the ROM and using that.

Sadly hacking Smash 4 isn't really possible, damn I thought there was a way...

I have an US Emunand and 90% of my games are Japanese, they all work perfectly except two that require NTR / Language emu.
Animal Crossing JPN and Dragon Quest Slime Adventure 3. Every other Japanese game works fine, I have like 40 of them.

Also Smash Bros is the one game I would keep US region, because if your friends have the US version you may have problems
playing with them. The voices are the same and there's no story. Japanese makes no difference so why don't you keep Smash Bros in US format?

btw I'm using Reinand, NTR and CIAs

Voices are different though, that's the whole reason I want the JPN version
